Seamless

Though my matter was a small traffic violation, I sought Mr Marootian's expertise as I had not received a traffic violation in New Jersey in over 25 years and did not want my insurance premium to be affected. Highly recommend

Mr. Marootian was easy to talk to, compassionate, and understanding which was very important to me. Mr. Marootian is very knowledgeable about areas of law involving driving, criminal defense, and municipal issues. Been doing it for long time - a fixture in the town of Livingston and surrounding areas. Very effective advocate!

Best lawyer ever hired

I had 2 traffic violations in this case- one in last December and the other in this February. Considering my driving record is not good and my car insurance has doubled since last car accident , I hired Greggory to represent me for these 2 traffic violations. When we meet to talk about my case, he... is very patient and sympathetic. Feeling being listened to and being taken care of really lowered my anxiety since I have a lot going on in my life. My planned court date is in April but didn’t really make it because of COVID 19. During Pandemic, Greggory continue communicating with prosecutor for my case and in May his effort leads to our expected outcome - both tickets are reduced to none-point violations and both don’t carry the hefty often associated with a common non-point offense. I am very satisfied with this outcome and really appreciate for his professional service!

Effective, human-centered, and thoughtful

I am currently a graduate student. My father hired Gregg to defend me for two traffic tickets: failure to report and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. Other than these two tickets, I had one traffic ticket for careless driving in my 5 or so years of driving, and do not have any o...ther involvement in legal matters in my 26 years alive. Ultimately, Gregg helped us get what seemed to be the best outcome possible — the charges were both dismissed, and I had to pay a fine of either $50 or $75. Otherwise, consequences for leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage can be quite steep.They can include a license suspension of up to 6 months, points, and a fine, I think (not 100% sure about the latter two, but the license suspension can occur if charged with this). In the process of working together, Gregg was a great listener and genuinely interested in me as a whole person; he listened carefully to my side of the story and considered the different pieces of historical and situational contextual information I provided. I believe his genuine interest along with years of experience contributed to a successful plea bargain for charges that otherwise could have been very damaging. He did a great job of leveraging details about me, including my status as a graduate student with a track record of good grades and a clean traffic/criminal record (other than the one careless driving in May of 2019). He also took into account other documents, such as letters of recommendations from my supervisors at school and work, that spoke to my character. However, these materials were not even necessary in order to obtain a great outcome. Overall, as the title reads, I felt Gregg was effective, human-centered, and thoughtful. The bottom line for me was that I felt he is a kind and competent practitioner of law. I feel fortunate to have crossed paths with a decent individual like him, and I hope that more people in the field (and in life more generally) can demonstrate the traits of compassion, ethical sensibility, and competence that Gregg did.
