Had a TRO filed on me by someone who maliciously had something against me for whatever reason, and I was lucky to have found Todd to defend me, I must admit, I couldn't have gotten a better lawer.. Iam really grateful to Todd Palumbo, and I would recommend him any day...

I was a nervous wreck because it was my first ticket, a Careless Driving ticket, that I got in Edison. I wanted to prevent my insurance from skyrocketing so I looked up attorneys for traffic tickets and came across Todd Palumbo and his team. Michelle Welsh broke down everything when I went on location to get the consultation. As expected, she was realistic about the situation when she gave me the breakdown. Hearing it, it calmed my nerves. Once a plan was given, and I paid their fee, it was off to court a couple of months later. Another lawyer from the firm showed up to the building and gave me information on the ticket I will receive as a alternative. zero points and the nature of the ticket won't impact my insurance rates. First of all, I can honestly say that both of these attorneys actually care about your case, and your well being. They went to extensive lengths to prove this to me, and to also prove that I wasn’t just another dollar sign to them. Hard to believe, right? The stress during my cases was eliminated due to the fact that Todd and Michelle never ignored my phone calls or text messages, always kept me updated with what was going on, never leaving me in the dark. Mr Palumbo’s talent when it comes to post conviction relief is undeniably outstanding. I was faced with a 20 year license suspension and Mr Palumbo was able to file a thorough, to the point, no questions asked, motion for PCR and have 10 years knocked off my sentence. My son had two serious charges on him. He passed a stopped school bus and was going 23 miles above the legal speed limit. This carried 9 points between the two along with 2 lesser charges. The points alone should have cost him a license suspension and points. We were so nervous with the outcome. Todd reassured us everything would be okay. Todd and Michelle went above and beyond. Todd had spoken with the prosecutor and had all charges dismissed. $611 in fines and court fees we were on our way. A ton of $$ saved as well as a license suspension. On February 26th, 2018 Monday, my wife was down the street from our home of 10 years when she saw a Star Ledger newspaper on the sidewalk. The Star Ledger sends out "Free" Sunday Star Ledgers as part of a promotion. Many people in town just leave them on the sidewalk, etc. My Wife made a mistake and picked up a Star ledger and went back to her van. My wife collects Coupons, which is the reason for picking up the day old newspaper. A resident phoned the police claiming theft. The Police removed my wife from the van. I had been home when my wife called to explain what was going on. I drove over the the street, and my wife is Handcuffed, in front for all to see. The Police told me to stay back, and were unnecessarily aggressive. I pleaded with the officers, saying we are residents, the arrest is excessive. They took my wife to the police station and processed her. I immediately called Todd. Todd contacted the police station and made sure my wife did not give any statements to them. Todd worked to have the Town drop the charges. The Police officer would not. Several court dates later and Todd working his craft, the case was ultimately dropped by the Superior Court. The reason to include all this details is this: -Stealing a Newspaper is wrong -But the town showed zero discretion for my wife (handcuffed in public broad daylight) -I believe the town thought my wife (black) was a resident from a neighboring town that would just be quiet and take the charge, a strong accusation, but what else makes sense here? Todd is a great Lawyer, he listened to my wife and I and fought for what we wanted and what he believed was the right thing to do. Todd was able to make the argument that the case was excessive, and no discretion was given by the police. We also met Michelle Welsh who was terrific as well. It is important to mention that Todd charged his fee, but there were no additional charges , I believe he pushed a little harder to get the case dropped because he believed it was right thing to do. This was a major stress removed from my wife's life Thank you Todd

Let me start by saying that I came across Todd Palumbo while searching for a criminal defense attorney who knows Union County Court and after speaking with 2 other lawyers I decided to go with Todd. I have to say that I was very skeptical as he seems very confidant after reviewing my theft case that there was a good chance of him getting me off with a fine and restitution. Lets just say that I don't have a clean past so you can understand my skepticism. Well, we went to court this morning and Todd got my case dismissed. DISMISSED!. Are you kidding me? Todd did everything he said he was going to do and then some. He is professional, courteous, honest and most important he never judged me on my past. I knew the first time we went to court that I made the right decision in choosing him as he knows EVERYBODY in the Union County Courthouse, at least it seemed that way to me. Every Judge, prosecutor and defense lawyer we came across in the 4 court appearances we had to make always seemed like they went out of their way to talk to him and I can tell they all respect Todd.
