Completely satisfied with the result and avoided a hike in insurance

I was a nervous wreck because it was my first ticket, a Careless Driving ticket, that I got in Edison. I wanted to prevent my insurance from skyrocketing so I looked up attorneys for traffic tickets and came across Todd Palumbo and his team. Michelle Welsh broke down everything when I went on loca...tion to get the consultation. As expected, she was realistic about the situation when she gave me the breakdown. Hearing it, it calmed my nerves. Once a plan was given, and I paid their fee, it was off to court a couple of months later. Another lawyer from the firm showed up to the building and gave me information on the ticket I will receive as a alternative. zero points and the nature of the ticket won't impact my insurance rates. I was beyond relieved at the result that I couldn't thank him and them enough. What made the entire ordeal easy was the fact that not only are they splendid lawyers, they're good people. Personable, realistic, straightforward, affable, and just... people. You can feel how genuine they are in their demeanor towards you. I highly recommend them for your traffic tickets needs.

Excellent lawyer

My husband was facing a great deal of time. I had never had a reason to find or know a criminal lawyer but I am so happy that we found Todd. Todd explained every step of the case to us, and I felt he did an amazing job. We are extremely happy with the outcome of the case and would tell anyone and eve...ryone to use Todd as a lawyer. Thinking about hiring Todd? I’ll help you make up your mind.

If you are scrolling through these reviews, trying to decide if you should hire Todd Palumbo, or are comparing him to other lawyers, please stop now and take my word on this. I will save you a ton of time, and a ton of anxiety during your case. Todd Palumbo and Michelle Welsh (Todd’s partner) are the... two best attorneys in the state of New Jersey. Based on my experience(s) with these two, they never seem to fail me and always seem to surprise me with their extra ordinary efforts and dominant results. First of all, I can honestly say that both of these attorneys actually care about your case, and your well being. They went to extensive lengths to prove this to me, and to also prove that I wasn’t just another dollar sign to them. Hard to believe, right? The stress during my cases was eliminated due to the fact that Todd and Michelle never ignored my phone calls or text messages, always kept me updated with what was going on, never leaving me in the dark. These two are WELL known in the court system, especially by the prosecutors. It is clear to me based on their court presence that they are well respected. I cannot promise you that your case will end with the same result as mine, but let’s just say that a dismissal was the last thing I would have expected as per what I was charged with. If you choose to hire them, follow their instructions that they give you in order to prepare for the best result at the end of your case. Thank you Todd and Michelle for giving me another shot at life.

Great Lawyer

Todd handled my DUI case professionally and with an obvious strong knowledge of the legalities of the situation. He had my DUI dismissed and throughout, gave me comfort and sound advise. He is worth every penny of his fee and would highly recommend him.

A Lawyer You Can Totally Trust

Having taken prescribed medications for 10 years, I never expected any difficulty when I was pulled over for a careless driving violation. By cooperating and explaining my prescribed medications, I put myself in jeopardy of losing my license for 7 months, thousands of dollars in fines and significant... auto insurance increases. My last ticket was in 1981. I was accident free for decades. None of that mattered. What did matter was switching attorneys and being fortunate enough to have Todd Palumbo represent me. Todd was able to get the DUI charge dropped to a plea of careless driving and a three month license suspension. It was a difficult time for me to maintain the grind of work and life as this case would not be dropped or settled by the prosecutor and dragged on for 2 years. Todd was able and willing to explain in workmen’s terms the ensuing legalese, clearly present my options and advise me on the best way to proceed but with me making the final decision. He was calm but tough when needed. He expressed his anger to me over the unfair treatment by the traffic court but never in the courtroom. Having him on my team made a huge difference. He helped keep my life from possibly derailing from the potential serious problems that could have occurred without him. Todd is a lawyer you not just want but one you need when the chips are down.
