Peters is a true fighter who hates the corrupt system that has been helping the mental mothers get away with abusing children. This attorney has BALLS to stand up to these judges who violate our rights.

I used Peter's services for my divorce. He explained every procedure and every step of the process and answered all of my questions and was available at all times for any emergency. He explained everything. He is very knowledgable in all documents needed and was very persistent in obtaining them.

This was in Peter's words "a slam dunk" case. I was ecstatic with the outcome and very impressed by him being very tenacious in advocating for me. I highly recommend him and would use his services again.

I had many attorneys in the past, most of them just went through the motions, and were not really concern about my case inparticular. Mr. Lometevas worked really hard on my case. He did a wonderful job. He explain the judical process to me in great detail, and explained my options, and ramafications. Something that many other attorney's fail miserably at. I would highly recomend him.

My step-daughter is still in the middle of a incredibly acrimonious custody dispute in Colorado. Mr. Lomtevas was originally pro hoc'ed but when the sponsoring attorney on the case abruptly quite he lost his pro hoc. It took quite some time (and a CFI horribly flawed) for our daughter's next attorney to admit he was out of his league and agreed to pro hoc Mr. Lomtevas again. A hearing was set not three days away. Mr. Lomtevas flew in with 48 hours notice with his expert witness Dr. Monty that had several times in the past observed our grandchildren, spent time with us, our daughters mother and our oldest grandson as well. They worked feverishly through the night to produce a report and prepare and we all pitched in to make copies and get them to the correct place at the correct time. To watch Mr. Lomtevas in court is to watch an artist at work. One might expect a NY City attorney to be gruff, loud and abrasive. Mr. Lomtevas is almost soft spoken, a true gentleman and follows courtroom procedure to a tee. Aggressive in the way he challenges the witness, but always in a very polite manner. Direct, but never loud or abrasive. Mr. Lomtevas and Dr. Monty have a tremendous sense of right and wrong, and are truly compassionate people. AND they have a sense of humor! This is a very complex case with the machine aligned against us, but we have full confidence that Mr. Lomtevas will see it through. Even if it is on appeal. Mr. Lomtevas does not give up!

Peter went aggressively after my case. He caused the impossible to happen. Unfortunantly not due to anything Peter did or did not do he could not continue with the case. I have never seen a lawyer before or since with as much passion and knowledge as Peter has for family law. He is about changing the system & helping do what is right by the children. I would recommend to EVERYONE to use Peter & follow everything he says to the tee.

GI can't say enough good about Peter and I'm trying to find the words that don't make this sound like a bad coffee commercial. The Cliff's Notes Version: It's a family operation, where they take their cases personally. Peter is particularly versed in the world of forensic psychologists and proper court procedure. An ex-military man, he has, literally, gone far above and beyond the call of duty for me. He takes calls at all hours and for all concerns. He works on the level, yet exhibits a bulldog tenacity for his clients and for the cause of shared & fair parenting. (He was originally recommended to me by Glenn Sacks, a shared parenting advocate.) He's straightforward and he's an incredibly hard worker. My Case Details: Peter is handling an appeal in a particularly nasty custody case where the mother is a borderline personality who repeatedly sited a historically violent relationship with her child on the stand, including having a 6 year old put in a psyche ward as a means of discipline for a temper tantrum, calling the police on a 6 year old as a scare tactic, and several "wrestling" / "kicking" matches. Despite 5 eye witnesses testifying to her abuse; 2 court-ordered psychological forensics evaluators heavily recommending full custody to me; a law guardian stating that I am the better parent; and a mother who presented no witnesses, no corroboration for her accusations against me, and who perjured herself at least 3 times on the stand, the judge ignored all evidence on record and manufactured a decision that he laced with outright lies counter to all experts and everything presented on record. Make no mistake gentlemen: the system is against you despite the evidence and your fair play. It's a terrible system. It's a corrupt system. And the last thing it cares about is what's best for your children. If you have hundreds of thousands of dollars to spend on lawyers who have an in with the judges, then go for it. But if you're a lower to middle class litigant caught in a scary and expensive world that casts you as a criminal just for having a great relationship with your children, then I do not believe you can find more bang for your buck in the state of New York than Peter Lomtevas, nor a better, harder-working advocate for your rights and your child's welfare.
