For over a decade I owned and operated a litigation support company  in New York and Boston that assisted trial attorneys in the managment and litigation of their cases.  This gave me the opportunity to see numerous attorneys in practice and what worked (and didn't work) in attorney/client relations and the practice of law.  When I became an attorney myself I brought that knowledge and experience into my own practice.

Excellent Experience
Attorney Matta helped me draft a pretrial memorandum and has always provided me with excellent legal advice. Attorney Matta is undoubtedly great at what she does. She is incredibly intelligent and will work hard to fight for her clients but the best part of working with her is she is extremely personable and understanding. She has an expansive resume and many years of experience as a family attorney so she’s seen it all. A lot of times she was able to finish my sentences when explaining my legal troubles. Attorney Matta is also extremely fair when it comes to payment, and she worked with me which was nice. She also doesn’t forget about her clients, and her concern for the outcome of their case is genuine. I will definitely continue to consult and potentially hire Attorney Matta in the future and would recommend her to anyone in need of legal representation.

A godsend!
After a long and difficult custody battle I reached out to Atty. Matta. I feel so blessed because I finally found an attorney who can guide me through my case while acting as an advocate. After speaking to numerous attorneys and hitting dead ends, I finally feel like I can make progress in my case because I am not just working with an attorney, I’m working with an expert. Estela Matta is top of the line Family Lawyer, worth every dollar. When she speaks...you better listen!
I had a very tough case, my children mother filed a false restraining on me and won because she didn't want our children around my wife. She lied on me and said a lot of bad things that wasn't true at all, the Municipal Court took me out of my very young children lives. My world came crashing down, because I grew up without a father and I didn't want my small children to grow up without me. I didn't have much money and I had a lot of other bills to pay. I reached out to different lawyers and most of them were fast talkers. When I spoke to Estela, she was straight forward with me and she told me my chances of being back in my small children lives was very slim... so I hired her. My small children meant more to me than anything in this world, by me having a very small chances of being back in their lives was good enough for me. Long story short, the restraining order was vacated and I have joint custody of our small children. Estela Matta is soft spoken on the phone...and no joke in the courtroom! If you need a clue attorney Matta is for you
Ms. Matta took time out on a Saturday to evaluate my case.Within 45 minutes she was able to fill in the gaps and complete the puzzle that escaped the logic of other attorneys I consulted.They charged me the hourly rate of 300 dollars and left questions unanswered.Estela was a free conversation without double talk and circular dialogue.What is most astonishing is the truth she gives you.You will not get that honesty upfront as Estela gets.This will save you a bundle just on a evaluation.I am confident in her skill and look forward to meeting her soon.If she will take my case I would be overjoyed.

Excellent Family Lawyer!!!
Estela is very experienced and knows family law like the back of her hand. When it comes to child custody battles, Estela is intelligent, caring, punctual and dedicated to the families she works for. Estela is confident yet realistic; she doesn't just tell you what you want to hear so will keep spending money frivolously in denial - she tells you the reality of what you need to know to ensure that you are always ten steps ahead of the other party. She handled my case skillfully and obtained a favorable, balanced resolution, while also managing to make the whole painful process bearable. Estela was always available to take or return my calls to answer all my questions. She did an amazing job by always keeping me updated and walking me through the whole process. Incredible lady!!
This women whom I've never met took time out of her day to speak with me for over half an hour. Very informative, extremely caring even though she knew I couldn't afford her in the beginning of our conversation, she still took the time to give me helpful information and also three numbers that could help me. I knew attorney Estela Matta through AVVO. I posted couple of questions here and her answers were in details, not a short answer like other lawyers; that gave me an impression that she was that type of Loyal Sincere attorneys. So, I sent her an email asking for the possibility of having a consultation with her. She happily and willingly sat up an appointment with me for a FREE consultation. When we talked, she impressed me for the knowledge that she had, and most importantly; the way she didn't care about how much time we spent talking about the case (not like other lawyers who count minutes for you). She was an excellent LISTENER (As clients, we NEED that) and a great source of information. Her information that gave to me made me aware of a lot of things regarding my case. Her professional but friendly behavior makes me HIGHLY recommend her for others.

A Powerhouse Attorney
Estela Matta is a force to be reckoned with. I have never seen such a lawyer as sharp, aware and intelligent as she is. Her mind is brilliant, genius if you will and she knows her stuff! She will work hard to make sure her clients are taken care of. She interprets the difficult language of the law, documents and court languages making sure you understand it fully. She has great patience. She is highly trustworthy and profoundly understanding. Everything is done in a timely manner. People in the court systems can be so corrupt and heartless at times making things unfair but Ms. Matta is persistent and stands for justice. She doesn't give up until positive results are produced. I HIGHLY recommend her as your Attorney!

Highly Recommend
I would highly recommend Estella Matta. She is amazingly knowledgeable and probably one of the smartest people I’ve even known. After my brother’s death she was my first call when it came time to address the legal requirements of establishing his estate. I hired her as a consultant to help navigate me through and begin that process. Ms. Matta has a real love of the law, and because she does she has both an extensive knowledge of the theory behind a law and the pragmatic experience of the application of it as it is practiced in the real world. She explained what had to be done, why it had to be done, and most importantly, how it was to done it in a way that was both detailed and easily understood. She always made me feel that I was her only client and that her expert council was always just a phone call away.

Great lawyer, great job
Attorney Matta is a staunch advocate. As a client I was treated with respect, my interests were vigorously protected, and without disclosing the particulars, my case was satisfactorily concluded. She was respectful to the opposing counsel, but unrelenting on the key points. I have not had much experience with lawyers, but certainly she represents the best of them: thoughtful, professional, diligent, effective. If I ever have need of a lawyer again, I would certainly turn to her first. I highly recommend her.
