I have more than four years of litigation experience in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, corporate law, and insurance defense. I have independently litigated almost 200 District Court bench trials in various jurisdictions in the State of Maryland, along with 20 jury trials. I have handled several hundred cases from inception to resolution whether that resolution was settlement, mediation, arbitration, or trial. Upon receipt of a case, I evaluated and then carried out the needs of that specific case which required top-notch research and analytical skills. I have extensive litigation experience and legal knowledge in my areas of practice as listed above and am very familiar with the Court system in the State of Maryland.

"Ms. Pearlman is active in the AVVO community providing thoughtful and detailed answers. She is a skilled litigator and gained a great deal of experience working as a defense attorney for State Farm."
"I worked with Jody Pearlman at State Farm for a few years. She was hired as a new lawyer, recently out of law school. Within one to two years, she was handling complex jury trials and the claims department loved her. One of the most cynical claim representatives I know went to watch her in trial and commented that, "she is one of the best I've seen, she's amazing." Jody is quick on her feet when it comes to cross examining lay witnesses and especially, expert witnesses. The expert witnesses do not see it coming because of her youthful appearance."
