I represented Defendant Williams who rear-ended Plaintiff Diamola at a low rate of speed. Plaintiff alleged that Defendant Williams caused over $16,000 in damages (medical bills and lost wages) in a mi ... nor rear-end collision resulting in almost no damage to the vehicles involved. Plaintiff visited his primary care physician twice. Both times PCP reported that there were no injuries as a result of the accident. Subsequently, Plaintiff contacted a lawyer who referred him to a different physician who diagnosed injuries. Plaintiff then amassed over $8,000 in medical bills and over $8,000 in lost wages. $1,800 was offered prior to trial and rejected by Plaintiff. Jury awarded $583.00 to Plaintiff for first two visits to primary care physician.
