BEWARE

Fired his firm 3 times. When I tried to get money back, finally, was put in touch with PEW. He said I had opened my email and he had earned the nearly 2000.00, I BEGGED for help filling out the forms for the court... was told I had to do this myself by hand. I told them when I hired them I had disa...bilities. Was assured they could help, would even come to the house. ALL LIES, Lied to me and kept money they did nothing to earn.

Pew Law did not pressure or rush me. They show they care and that they will help navigate the entire process with and for me. I am looking forward to my fresh start with their help.

PLC to the rescue !

Bankruptcy is a scary word, plus the stigma attached to it is a blow to one's self worth, but working with the lawyers and staff at the Pew Law Center allowed us to get grounded and see where our financial needs would be best addressed. They just didn't break into a sell for Bankruptcy, the lawyers a...nd legal assistants took the time to go over our complete financial history then suggested which direction would be the most feasible. The day of the hearing in bankruptcy court (341 hearing) . Our lawyer was there on time met with us prior to seeing trustee and then walked us out reassuring us that we were fine. You can't beat the treatment you recieve from the members of the PLC, for a breif moment my lawyer felt like my very own family. We trusted him completely.

Why did I wait so long to do this!

I retired in 2003 and had been trying to pay off my bills by myself. My pension was decreased (company went bankrupt) My health got worse, three surgeries in four years! Do not believe that once you retire that creditors cannot come after you. My reason for filing was one creditor decided to add t...he income (that I owed them) to my income. This put me in another tax bracket. Needless to say, I owe both state and local taxes due to this. I filed to keep other creditors from doing the same thing! Yes, I was nervous about the procedure, but I knew I was in good hands when I found Pew Law! They were comforting, knowledgeable, professional and made the entire process very much worthwhile. I even enjoyed the debtor education classes. I was so relieved! Thank you, Pew Law!

They helped me so much

Scott helped me with some criminal law as well as a family court case. Very professional and I always know who I'll call if I ever need an experienced attorney again!
