I'm an attorney who, in fact, does a bit of personal injury work himself; nonetheless, even attorneys sometimes need an attorney. I had a personal injury case (my wife and I had been rear-ended by a negligent driver), and needed some assistance, so I called Max as he's well known in his field, with a stellar reputation. Following a car accident not only did I need on going medical treatment for my injuries I found myself in need of an attorney. Finding an attorney that I could trust and have confidence in, all while recovering from a car accident, was stressful and took some time. I reached out to a couple of attorneys, but my confidence just wasn't there, then I was referred to Max Meyers Law by my Chiropractor. I first spoke to Richard, who was so friendly, personable and helpful. This was a great start! Then I spoke with Max, and met with him in person. I immediately knew this was a great fit. I was laid up several months from the accident & didn't contact a lawyer for awhile. The 1st lawyer I contacted didn't want to take my case, the at fault driver had a medical issue. The hospital, doctor & physical therapy bills were overwhelming, we knew we needed a lawyer. Max was recommended so we gave him a call & made an appointment to come into his office. Right form the beginning Max was very professional & said we had a very good case. The at fault driver had minimal insurance with a high risk company. Max dealt with the at fault driver's insurance & then filed a claim with our own insurance for the uninsured/underinsured portion. He got us a settlement with our own insurance company which was much more then we ever anticipated. We were very pleased. If the accident never happened would be my 1st choice because I'll never be the same but at least the settlement helps to offset things. I like to add that the communications with Max & the office were great. E-mails were answered promptly & if we needed to talk with Max we were connected right away or he called right back.

I hired Max after I was run off the road on my motorcycle by a car in February of 2016. After meeting with several attorneys, Max proved not only to be the most experienced in motorcycle crash cases, but was also professional and realistic. My case was actually too small for Max to take on but he spent numerous calls with me discussing my case and giving me invaluable advice about how to negotiate my settlement with the auto insurance company. He was much more patient than many other lawyers I talked to who immediately wrote me off and got an attitude with me when they found my case to be too small. Max was always friendly and willing to listen and give advice even when he knew he wasn't going to get compensated for the advice. He also sent me his book on how to deal with auto accidents which I read in its entirety and found very useful in negotiating as well. I was able to increase my settlement offer by nearly 20% and was satisfied with the final settlement amount, and I don't believe I could've increased the amount by that much without his help.
