Andrew took over a civil litigation matter from another attorney after the first attorney messed up our case. The case was in a lawsuit and we had no idea what was going on from the first attorney. Andrew immediately filed a couple of motions to get the case back on track. He took the time necessary to explain everything to us. We knew this was going to be a tough case but Andrew worked very hard preparing the case for arbitration. We are fortunate that he was our attorney and highly recommend him without any reservations. He is someone you can trust.

I highly recommend Andrew for anyone that needs an excellent divorce attorney. When I was first served with the papers, I was very distraught, confused and upset. I didn't know what to do. I contacted Andrew's office and after meeting with him, I felt much better and my worries seemed to go away. The case was not easy for me and my emotions went up and down but Andrew was there every step of the way. He went above and beyond to respond to my numerous questions all times of the day. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, and effective as as my attorney. He negotiated a very reasonable settlement for me and I'm happy to start a new chapter in my life. Andrew was so amazing. His staff was always friendly as was he. For me my divorce scared me but he worked with me to stay confidential and strong. When my divorce was finalized I thanked Andrew for the second greatest gift in my life. My first is my son and the second was my freedom back. i choose Andrew because he cared he travel from Bellevue to Tacoma to meet with me and my son my son was thrown out of a pick up truck and he fought very hard to make sure he was taking care of and he assure us that the medical bills will be taking care of and we trusted every word and he handle the case until the end and we were very much pleased with the outcome i would recommend him to my friends and family very honest and up front.

I had a great experience working with Mr Andrew Kim for my dissolution case. Prior to that, I was working with another attorney, and had a very bad experience. He wasn't responsive, didn't give me enough details of the proceedings and was very difficult to work with. So I changed to Mr Andrew. And he quickly got all facts of my case and started working immediately. He was very prompt, and completely thorough, and explained to me all the details. He helped correct some mistakes made by the previous attorney. and things ended very smoothly at the end.

After I was in a car accident I was very scared and didn't know what to do. Andrew helped me with everything. He was very understanding and responsive. I had a generally positive experience with Andrew, given it was my first experience with any attorney for personal matters. Andrew made it clear right in the begining that he would take the case only if I was sure the divorce would be uncontested. I got all the relevant advice and guidance during this process right up to the last step of going to court and getting all the papers signed, submitted and certified.

I hired Andrew a month ago and paid him $1850 for his services and then the $260 filing fee for my parenting plan request. He was Johnny on the spot leading up to getting paid. Since then nothing. I have sent him a dozen texts, half a dozen emails with time stamps, left about 5 voicemails so far and nothing. I told him it was urgent as my son may be moved out of the state without my knowledge unless this parenting plan was completed. He may have just cost me my son. I am not rich by any means and the fact that I can count on my hard saved money to vanish for free is very insulting. Absolutely a thief. Takes your money. Disappears and never helps you.

No contact with me. No action taken on my case. Pacified me when I complained, but still no action. LOTS OF OTHER ATTORNEYS SAY HE’S INCOMPETENT AND AN EMBARRASSMENT!! Had to hire another firm! Lost my $2000 retainer to him even though he only billed one hour!

Very poor choice in hiring him. Very little action on his part throughout the entire time we were working together. He did not advocate for my rights and the end result was devastating. Best advise for you today - do Not hire Andrew Kim!

I can not believe this man is doing this to people!!! I hired him for a simple contempt hearing, paid him $1500 and then he went MIA!!! Nothing, no correspondence, no replies, nothing! Completely left me hanging out to dry! Would never recommend him to anyone!!

I hired Andrew Kim for a very simple Child support Modification. He requested a $2k retainer. I did all of the work of getting my Ex's pay stubs and W2's. I emailed him everything, he filled out the worksheet and submitted it to court ONLINE. This process should have taken a couple weeks however he continued to stall. His response time was extremely slow, his voice mail box was always full and he clearly either didn't have time for my simple case or just didn't care. I was constantly emailing him asking for the status in which he billed me for these emails. Once he submitted it to the court it took 2 days, so all these delays had nothing to do with the courts and all to do with him. Once it was completed, and again I had to ask for the final papers because he hadn't sent them to me (he billed me for this email too) , I asked for a final invoice and money returned only to be ignored. After 3 weeks and probably 6+ emails to him I contacted the WA state bar and they got in touch with him, I heard from him the very next day. He would have probably completely written me off had they not got in contact with him. He sent over an invoice 2 weeks later and only returned $271 of my $2k that I gave him for a job that probably only took him 2-3 hours at most, he charged me $298 an hr. I DO NOT recommend Andrew Kim. I've dealt with a few attorneys in my life and he was by far the worst!!! Jessica

Honestly I feel like he failed me, he didn’t fight for me. I paid him to represent me and instead he just filed the papers and agreed to basically everything the other person wanted. This was for a parenting plan. Out of all the things I wanted included I got nothing except the other party having every other Sunday instead of every Sunday. He failed me and I should be refunded for his lack of help. He also didn’t send me the papers until middle of June when I needed them sooner as we needed to pick our 2 week summers by the end of May. I spent money on something I could have done myself… filing my papers. Do not go to Andrew Kim for a family law attorney because he won’t fight for you, he’ll side with the other party acting as if he’s fighting for you. When you hire someone you expect them to be there for YOU and do as much as they can for you to help you in getting what you asked for and that did not happen here. If I have to go through this again I will not ever go to Andrew again as my money will simply just be stolen and not used for the intentions at hand.
