After having trouble getting an eviction, due to misunderstandings of the Pandemic restraints on evictions by another attorney; my realtor referred me to Pete Meyers. My first meeting with Mr Meyers was very pleasant and he was concise, making me feel confident and secure in his understanding of the ...pandemic restrictions. If I ever have to do this again, I would; give him exactly what he requests, and nothing more, and follow his directions completely and wait for him to call, and simply let it happen. Pete was very helpful with a situation we had as landlords and our property management company. Our tenants were great but the property management company neglected to write our lease contract properly. The tenants were due a relocation fee due to this contract being written poorly. The property mana...gement said we were liable for this fee but we felt they were since we had expressed our intention to move back into our house. Pete was able to take all the information and emails between us and the management company, and confirm that they were in fact liable for the relocation fee and not us. He helped us determine their negligence and help us confirm that we were in fact in the right. We had paid for his hour consultation and was able to move forward with the knowledge he had given us.

I needed a lawyer with knowledge of rental owners rights and tenants right in the county of Multnomah, City of Portland. I called around and got a referral for Pete Meyers. I've been very pleased with his professionalism in these matters. Because of the state covid laws my hands were pretty tied as t...o what I could do should evicting a couple of tenants. We were finally able to get o e tenant out of my property but it took months and months to do because of the court situation. We were also able to get an agreement from the other tenant to vacate within three months of a court date that was against them. Long hard trying process and very frustrating!! To give a little background, this was a landlord tenant eviction process I (the landlord) was pursuing and dealing with a very difficult tenant. I did not by any means give him an easy task. When handling my eviction process he was extremely understanding, thorough, detailed and very nerve calming.... He effortlessly handled my case with ease and turned a very difficult and stressful scenario into a defused, resolved court order from a judge. He communicated every step of the process and answered all of my questions quickly. He is a Veteran just as I am, and even on Veterans Day he still responded to my much needed questions.
