He is amazing!

Pete's dedication, thoroughness, and professionalism shines through with each case. His expertise and recommendations have always been spot on, and if you follow his recommendations, you know you are expediting the court process to minimize costs and time. He may be blunt, but if you are open to acti...vely learning, he is a gem to work with. We recommend him to anyone that needs help!

Great experience. Thank you!

Pete helped me to address a conflict with a tenant who was violating several terms of her lease. The situation was further complicated due to the pandemic and the additional legal protections the tenant was privy to around this time. During our consultation Pete honed quickly into the situation with ...asking all the right questions. He explained clearly and concisely what my rights were and what I had to do to remedy the situation. He was selective in advising which violations I might have a case against and which ones I might have trouble contesting based on Oregon law and legal precedent. His instructions to me were very clear and working with him clarified a muddy situation for me and gave me the confidence to deal with a truculent tenant. Pete knows landlord-tenant law very well and gives sound legal advice based on the letter of the law. During the time I worked with him he answered voicemails and emails promptly. I didn't have to wait long to get a clarification on any questions I had. The matter came to a successful conclusion and working with Pete has been a pleasure and money well spent.

Very helpful

Pete was very helpful with a situation we had as landlords and our property management company. Our tenants were great but the property management company neglected to write our lease contract properly. The tenants were due a relocation fee due to this contract being written poorly. The property mana...gement said we were liable for this fee but we felt they were since we had expressed our intention to move back into our house. Pete was able to take all the information and emails between us and the management company, and confirm that they were in fact liable for the relocation fee and not us. He helped us determine their negligence and help us confirm that we were in fact in the right. We had paid for his hour consultation and was able to move forward with the knowledge he had given us.

COVID-19 Nighmare

I had used Pete for a Tenant issue several years ago with great success. Pretty cut and dried - probably because I hired him to start with. When the COVID-19 Renters Moratorium hit, just days after our eviction order was signed - our nightmare began. Pete handled this from the beginning - doing an... excellent job - but things went sideways with this new law. I could not have asked for a more professional job. We finally were able to close the case - tenants out. Pete - from the beginning - outlined the cost as the case moves along - with all the different variables, so there are no surprises when you get the invoice. He makes sure to minimize all conversations and other costs to keep the costs to a minimum. Each minute charged for was a minute used legitimately. No surprises. I will use him again - and highly recommend his expertise if you get into a tenant / landlord situation. Don't try doing it on your own. Call Pete first. From experience - I can say this. Thank You Pete for a job well done.

Helped on eviction notice in Washington county, Oregon

Pete referred to me and exceeded our expectations with an eviction notice. He returned my call promptly, did charge what he said he will and did a follow up calls as needed. I will call him again (Hope not needed though) and recommend his services to landlords.
