Let me preface this with a full disclosure. I am an attorney myself and have worked with hundreds of attorneys! But guess what I too am human and in 2018 I got myself into a nasty DUI mess. Suffice to say it was not just a DUI there were other factors involved, I am a federal attorney subject to b...ackground checks, I was relocating to another state within two weeks for a new position, and I received additional charges associated with my case. But it wasn’t over...CA erroneously charged me with outlandish restitution fees about a year later and I desperately reached out to John again. Once again he took my case cleaned up the mess in my favor! Please believe me when I tell you do not assume you do not need a lawyer when you get a DUI! Get the best, one such as John who is not just an expert in his field but also comes highly recommended by his peers. John is a lawyer who cares about his clients and does not pass judgement! On a final note I have so much respect for him that I will be hiring him yet again next year to expunge my record. Forever thankful to John and his law firm!

Mr. Campanella was a godsend! He was recommended by a fiend of a friend (another lawyer), who said that Mr. Campanella was one of the best DUI lawyers in Sacramento. I was so glad and relieved when I spoke to him, because he was very straight forward and told me exactly how he thought it was going to... go. And he was right! I was charged with misdemeanor (NON-DUI) by local sheriffs, which was way more than I deserved. I have contacted few local attorneys and chose to go with Mr. Campanella. No one wants to find themselves in the situation where you need a DUI attorney; however, if you do, I highly recommend Mr. Campanella. I resolved my underlying DUI before retaining Mr. Campanella, but faced a DMV hard suspension of 1 year for a failure to submit to the blood test. John Campanella did a great job on my DUI case when I was arrested early 2018 after I swerved and crashed my car. If anyone else is a Veteran and in a similar situation, go with John Campanella! John showed up in court to represent me, while I still maintain my job and school.
