I spoke with John about my driving under the influence of drugs case. He was very knowledgeable about my potential defenses and the elements of law. He took the time to review the field sobriety tests and explained the law and procedures concerning blood tests for controlled subatances. After speaking with John I felt like there was hope for my case. He is by far the most thorough DUI lawyer I've had a consult with.

From the start Mr. Campanella gave me his honest opinion about how my case would go and stopped at nothing to get me the best possible outcome. I have never had any issues with the law until my DUI and was very concerned about how it would impact my future and desire to pursue law school. Not only did Mr. Campanella do his part as my attorney for the trial but went above and beyond by providing me with support and advice. Although the DUI trial and overall experience was rough it was a lot easier to get through with Mr. Campanella's help. Thank you so much!

I sought Mr. Campanella's expertise as I knew he specialized in DUIs, and that meant he'd have plenty of expertise and knowledge around traffic laws and poring over and piecing together police videos, etc.
In early August I would receive a Notice to Appear, stating that I was cited for a "failure to stop at red light." As a single working mom, neither of the following scenarios seemed palatable: having to take the time to appear in court, incur a point on my driving record (and have my insurance rate go up), and pay the $480 fine OR pay and attend traffic school to avoid the point on my record and still pay the hefty fine.
Mr. Campanella made the entire process easy: we spoke over the phone, and I sent him over a PDF of my Notice to Appear and the information needed to view the video and photos. Within a day, he told me that he'd driven to the location of the violation, and that the sign "Red Light Violation $480 Fine" and the sign beneath it "PHOTO ENFORCED..." were obscured by a tree. I didn't even notice, but he clearly had! He set the trial date, and was going to mention the statute that states that signs should be clearly visible.
It really could have gone either way, as the law states that one is to make a full stop on a red, and I had been remiss in doing so. My attorney came very well-prepared, and his poise, rapport, and delivery were the deciding factors in the outcome. Thank you again, Mr. Campanella!
