I was lucky enough to find Nan when I got myself into trouble. She was extremely knowledgeable and conscientious. Additionally, Nan knew exactly what I would have to go through in terms of community service hours, court documentation and scheduling requirements. I would have been lost without her ...assistance. Finally, her fees were reasonable for the offense to be dealt with. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

I had walked in to court and pled no contest to a DUI and got a full sentence. I didn't have representation, so I called Nan to see if there was anything I could do. I called to set up a meeting and at first she said she might not be able to help me, but the more details I gave her, the more she star...ted to realize that I got screwed over by the County. So I hired Nan and she went to speak directly with the DA supervisor and had my case repealed withing 5 minutes. After that we went to court and she had my DUI reduced to a wet wreckless. Not only did she get my DUI reduced to a wet wreckless, but she also had my fees reduced by $1000, and I no longer needed to do community service, or the 3 month program, but instead a 12 hour class. She was also responsive, giving me a call, text, or email back within 15 minutes. If I had not seeked out her counseling, I would be stuck with a DUI on my record, and have community service, and higher fees to pay. Im extremely happy i seeked out her counsel or i wpuld of been left screwed over.

I've never had trouble with the law before. One night, I made a bad decision to drive after drinking at dinner and lost control of my car. I was told by other attorneys, given my case, that I could expect a 2-Year sentence. Working with Nan, I was sentenced for only 3 months!!! An unbelievable result that I feel is only possible because I had Nan by my side to guide me every step of the way. I hired Nan in June 2014 as my attorney to get me through a DUI charge. Before I hired her, I interviewed 2 other attorneys in the area who also had good reviews on yelp. I selected Nan based on her professionalism and attitude. She was well-dressed, her office was clean (NEVER trust anybody w...ith dead plants in their office), and conversed with me about my case in a clear manner. She also never said any inappropriate comments to me-- one attorney I interviewed suggested I work at a Vietnamese coffee shop to pay off my bill! Nan was respectful to me and did not make me feel uncomfortable because I was a "female" client. As we worked together on my case, she was always positive and realistic about what the consequences were for my case. I had faith and trust with her because she was genuine from the beginning. It's very easy to get a hold of her-- via email or phone call/text. I never worried about her not returning my calls or emails. I felt like I was going through my DUI alone since I didn't have many friends or family members I could trust-- Nan was emotionally supportive. She didn't act like a therapist and I didn't treat her that way, but I appreciated her positive attitude. The other attorneys I interviewed were very negative about my case. They said it was absolutely impossible to receive a wet reckless. Nan told me that having a DUI in Santa Clara County reduced to a wet reckless is difficult. She said that there we had a chance BUT they don't play in San Jose! Flash forward to August 2014-- I'm in her office signing papers to a wet reckless charge. I found Nan Yelp to begin with. I had received a DUI and really hadn't been in any trouble before, so I needed some guidance. When reviewing my case, Nan found there might have been an issue with the supposed illegal U-turn the police officer said I did, which is why I was pulled over in the first ...place. Nan was extremely diligent in gathering evidence, reviewing laws and codes related to this issue, and basically went to the wall for me. I was very impressed with her knowledge, her persistence and they way she handled the case in court. In the end, the DUI charges were dropped due to the illegal detainment (me being pulled over) by the officer because the U-turn was actually legal. I would recommend Nan to anyone in need of counsel.
