Ryan D. Harris is the managing attorney and principal of Harris Personal Injury Lawyers. Ryan has extensive experience in Personal Injury law and litigation. Ryan is a graduate of Brigham Young University, where he majored in Spanish and minored in History. Ryan attended law school at California Western School of Law in San Diego, California on an Academic Scholarship. While in law school, Ryan served as an Editor for the Cal Western Law Review. He finished law school with distinction, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Ryan is fluent in Spanish and has been certified bilingual by the University of Salamanca in Madrid, Spain.

Ryan's early legal experience included clerking for a Superior Court Judge, and working for insurance defense firms. However, his true passion lies in representing injured individuals and their families against major insurance companies. Ryan finds satisfaction in helping these less fortunate individuals. This has served him well, as Ryan has successfully settled and/or tried to verdict numerous cases, both large and small, on behalf of his clients.

After practicing personal injury law for several years, Ryan founded Harris Personal Injury Lawyers. Ryan formed the law firm on the principal that injured persons and their families should have access to the same quality legal representation as large insurance companies. Harris Personal Injury Lawyers is a premiere personal injury law firm. The law firm only handles personal injury cases, and only represents injured persons and their families. The law firm does not represent insurance companies.

Ryan is licensed to practice in all California State Courts. Ryan is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, the San Diego Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, and the American Association of Justice.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys many recreational activities, including surfing, football, and basketball.

Amazing Legal Prudence

This Law Firm is Great

Ryan Harris and his team of lawyers handled an auto accident case my wife and I. We were rear ended while driving from Utah to California. Although my wife was not as injured as I was, I required surgery on my wrist because of the way it hit the steering wheel of my car. Ryan and his team helped me throughout the entire process of the case, and in the end they got me compensated. I wasn't trying to win the lottery, but I suffered through the injury and the surgery, and these guys made it right by getting my medical bills paid for and money for my suffering. The process can be long, but I understand that is the system sometimes. Ryan saw it through. I would recommend them for sure.

Hurt riding motorcycle, great help

Last summer I broke my back and foot when a car pulled out in front of me while I was riding my motorcycle. My friend Evan was working for Mr. Harris at the time so I contacted him. They explained the entire process and answered all my questions with no pressure to hire them. Given my situation, hiring Mr. Harris was the best decision I could have made. The driver who hit me had low insurance limits that didn't cover all the medical bills, yet his office dealt with everything so I could focus on my recovery. Great office.

Bike Accident Personal Injury - Excellent Representation!

I was hit by a car while riding my bike to work. Dealing with lost work and medical appointments could have been very overwhelming, I can’t imagine if I would have had to deal with all of that and insurance companies as well. I was referred to Harris Personal Injury by the Santa Barbara Bar Association and they made the entire experience incredibly stress free for me. From day one, everything was taken care of. They guided me through all of the issues without a hitch. They went even further than I imagined with protecting my rights and making sure that I was compensated appropriately. The staff are very pleasant and extremely thorough in their communication with me as well as with hitting every possible point on the case. I hope it doesn't, but if the need were to arise, I would definitely call them again. They definitely went beyond what was expected, just to ensure I was taken care of.

Great Experience Overall

From the day I was given the card for this company, to a year later when my case was finally settled, I was grateful to have them taking care of everything I needed. Car accidents are stressful enough and I remember them telling me, "You just concentrate on getting better, we'll take care of the rest." They handled getting me information on all the doctors I needed to see, I never once had to deal with the insurance company directly, and in the end they fought to get me everything they could. They were clear when explaining my options and then gave me the time I needed to make the decisions. They were also very patient with my questions! I highly recommend the whole team!

Outstanding personal Injury representaion of my injuries from my bike collusion with a car. Service was very complete and caring

A van turned into my path while I was riding my bike six months ago. It became evident with in a few minutes of contacting the insurance of the person who hit me that I would receive no help from them. My bike club recommended Harris Personal Injury Lawyers and, after a call to their office, I was talking with one of their reps in my home an hour later. Excellent!

I was in an unfortunate accident with my entire family about a year ago. The reality is, is that I have never before pursued any kind of personal injury case, nor did I think much of it. It was only after I reluctantly decided to make a case and see the Harris Firm, that I realized how much good representation is needed. I'm confident that if I had not gone and seen the Harris Personal Injury firm that I would have been screwed by the insurance company. Their standards are excellent and the people are even better. My experience with attorney Ryan D Harris

I must admit that when I fist went to Ryan for my injury case from my recent automotive accident I was a bit skeptical, but he proved me wrong. I was rear-ended while on a stop light and i had no serious injuries other than back pain and neck stiffness. I was not expecting the amount of the settlement that was received Ryan really exeeded my expectations. All of my bills were paid off I fixed my back & neck , and I was left with thousands of dollars to spend. If I was to get in an accident today I would definately give him a call. They kept me up to date on my case, returned all phone calls, and was always very professional. Having him to help out on my case was very helpful and stressfree.

My Auto Accident
