How do you thank someone enough for changing your life for the better after a car accident left you living in pain through no fault of your own? The accident changed my life forever as well as my husband's and our son's. How do you thank him enough for never giving up on what is in my best interest f...irst, not his, not his boss', not his firm's...mine? For fighting over four years for me even though he knew he wouldn't make a penny personally until the case is settled? For becoming a friend along the way and encouraging me to never give up to feel better or give in to what they were offering because my pain and suffering were more valuable than what they offered twice? Yes, we won as far as he and I are concerned, to his firm's satisfaction, and to my car insurance company's loss. Isn't that why you buy a policy with coverage to protect yourself and then pay your car insurance the monthly payments for 29 years... to act in your best interest, not their company's? Both insurance companies fought it, delayed it, and tried to blame me and my health history from 1994 and my age (60), although I had been cleared medically by my doctors then and also from my current medical providers for those previous injuries. I was afraid to do what the doctors advised after the accident four years ago. Dan made sure I was able to receive every possible medical treatment available to me until I was relieved of the pain the accident caused. He convinced many medical providers to care for me on a lien, even though he/we could not commit to a payment date or amount for their services. And now we have received the check; I have released my insurance company from liability of these injuries, even though my amazing neurosurgeon, Dr. Sunjay Ghosh, thinks I will need another spinal fusion surgery in the future. I doubt I would have had the best surgeon available had Dan not convinced him to be available to me; I still thank God daily He brought both of these professional, thoughtful, caring men into my life, the best of the best. Dan made sure the monies were in the bank for me at the end, in case I do need more surgery in the future without having health insurance.
