In late 2021, I found myself charged with misdemeanor criminal battery (242 PC) after defending my family in a dispute over a parking place. I was horrified to learn about the extremely low bar set for the definition of this crime in California, and that I found myself facing this charge for defendi...ng my family. I was completely shocked at the lack of concern shown by the police for my version of what happened during my arrest and the potential consequences if I were to be found guilty of the charge made against me. On September 29, 2019 I was charged with dui with hit and and run. My neighbor had blocked half of my driveway with his car and as I backed out I scraped his bumper. One of the best criminal defense lawyers in Orange County. I was scared s***less when was confronted with a possible 2 year prison sentence but Peter walked me through the whole thing every step of the way. Always answered my messages or calls when I had a question and told me exactly what to do thr...oughout the whole ordeal. When cops tell you to tell them everything because they "want to help you" don't believe them. When Peter tells you to tell him everything because he wants to help you, obey his every word. Background: Most people will emphasize on the saying "I was at the wrong place at the wrong time" when they are accused of driving under the influence. In my defense, that saying is the epitome of my arrest on March 19th, 2017. I was hit by a drunk driver who totaled my car after failing to yield on... a left turn. Like anyone who has been arrested for a DUI, I was terrified. More about the accident, and less about the events that transpired later that night. To this day I can remember the night as if it just happened. Anyways. Back to the story. I was questioned by a police officer after being removed from my vehicle about what I had to drink that night, and well the rest was history. Failed the field sobriety test according to their standards, and blew a 0.07. TWO YEARS later my options were to 1. accept the DUI charges (2 charges) 2. go to trial. With support from my family, friends, and Peter I took my case to trial.
