I want to thank Peter and his team at the SoCal Law Network. A friend recommended this firm and it was a fantastic decision. I was stopped when I when into a DUI checkpoint. I chose to do a blood test and spent the night in jail. My blood came back at .08%. I have a clean driving record and this... was the first time I have ever had legal trouble. I only interviewed one firm, based on the recommendation. As a result, I received a wet reckless from the civil hearing and the DMV set aside the DUI after Peter proved to the hearing judge and expert witness that I scientifically couldn't have a blood alcohol of .08% and that it was less than the legal limit. Lesson learned, never drink and drive.

I was being charged with 1) driving under the influence of alcohol and 2) having a blood alcohol concentrati...on (BAC) above 0.08% in April of 2018. I was AQUITTED on both counts/charges when Peter and I took it to trial in March of 2020 (nearly 2 years later). When it came to the DMV hearing that follows a DUI charge, Peter fought my case and the DMV concluded my driver's license was not to be suspended. In short, my BAC was 0.05-0.06%, the field sobriety tests were not perfect, and the police officers did not follow certain protocols, but Peter was always objective when pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of the case and had me ultimately make the decision to move forward to go to trial or not (this was never a clear cut win). He and his partners did everything they could to prevent going to trial, but were always ready to go to trial if needed. During trial, he was articulate in his presentation and VERY well prepared (you can see from his multitude of binders of research papers and proper protocol). He also prepared me well for what was going to happen before and during trial. It was frightening to be in this situation, but Peter knows what he is doing and is very good at it. TRUST HIS PROCESS. Having this charge against me was tremendously stressful and talking to Peter since Day 1, it felt like he understood very well what I was going through emotionally. Early on he assured me that no matter the outcome of the trial or my case, things would be okay in the end. Three years ago I made the biggest mistake of my life: I mixed up my medications and got a DUI. I was so scared I would lose my nursing license. I am anonymously writing this review to enlighten you on the spectacular experience I had while going through a very traumatic time last year. I unfortunately was arrested for a second DUI while coming home from a Christmas party. I am employed as a healthcare professional and having this conviction ...on my record would have heavily encroached on my ability to practice due to the proposed ramifications imposed on me by my licensing board.
