well , i had a long journey looking for an immigration lawyer doing E2 change status, i was on B1/B2 visa, made 3 interviews with different lawyers , all of them gave me different requirements , and some of them were really hard to to prove, then i searched for a lawyer in my area where i'm, and i wa...s looking based on the highest reviews, so i emailed 3 or 4 of the highest rankings, Jacob office was one of them(that was in dec2024), the only one responded was Jacob office , a nice guy called Julio and started answering my questions by phone calls and emails, and kept following up with me with no charges, tell i decided to proceed as time was passing fast( i had to do premium processing to catch my i94 before expire). then i got email from my case manager and attorney , Anahita the attorney , kely was the case manager, both are so nice and understanding , they made looks easy for me during a zoom call to review my case and the requirements . Honestly they asked for a lot , but when something was really hard to be applied Anahita find the solutions. I paid 50% of the fees upfront, and they started preparations, that was hardest part, after case ready to file i paid the other 50% and they file the case with the premium processing. i totally trusted them from the beginning but i was still afraid of any failure or asking for more procedures from the immigration dept., well i got that email telling me my case got approved. I highly recommend this office for an E2 visa as my experience with them was satisfying. thank you.

Choosing a lawyer was a task in it self... I did some homework and talked to a few lawyer before choosing Jacob. When I "interviewed" Jacob on a free consultation we had, he was knowledgeable in the most recent developments and updates, he listened to my background and guided me to which direction ...would be best for me to pursue. He also showed enthusiasm, creativity and self confidence in his direction of guidance. Naturally, being it was before I actually chose him, I was a bit skeptical that lawyers could tell you many things before you choose them, and then "flip" after you pay them... Jacob was NOT like that: In fact, since he was very confident in his capabilities and in my case, he PROVED it - he offered to PAY ME BACK ALL HIS FEES if my case would not be approved!! he also offered to anchor this in our contract. This was for me, a lawyer that actually "put his money where his mouth is"!! This was for me a proof that he is a man of his word as well as professional that knows the details and recent updates. Many lawyer might disregard you after you paid them and would do the best they can to avoid you - Jacob is NOT like that: Even though he was busy many times, he always responded to me and and in most cases respected my concerns or at least listened to them... To my taste, since Jacob is not personally working on all his cases, the main thing you should be aware of, is to make sure and double check that the people from his office that he appoints to work on the case with him, are truly aligned with the details of your story case and that you made sure they did understand all the relevant details. Especially in the case of an EB-2 type of visa, that has some more technical issues to showcase and explain. I did find out in my case, that you can't just put them on "cruise control" or "let them do the work" without making sure that everything is presented the way it should be or there are misunderstandings. As for now, I recently got an approval notice of my case (which is the most critical part), that arrived a bit latter then then Jacob anticipated, but I am happy I would get the chance to create in the U.S and do my best to truly make the world a better place from the land of the dreams coming true.
