My name is Ginny Walia and I am a trial lawyer. I have handled hundreds of cases throughout the California criminal and federal courts of the greater San Francisco Bay Area and Central Valley. I have an extensive jury trial record, competitive attitude and a willingness to fight for my clients. I started my career with a rigourous trial training program at the San Francisco Public Defender's office. I successfully handled my first criminal jury trial against a seasoned prosecutor ten years ago and haven't looked back. Since then I have handled numerous jury trials including misdemeanors and serious felonies. I strongly believe in an accused's right to representation against charges by federal and state governments. I have commented as an legal analyst in well publicized, high profile criminal cases on national television channels. Specifically, I commented as a legal analyst on the DNA evidence that was a part of the Scott Peterson case and the Natalie Holloway case. I have also written over 60 federal immigration appeals in the last decade.
