Wow, what a nightmare Attorney Kentenbaum helped me to resolve. A woman I'd initially thought was responsible, reasonable, normal, etc? Turned out to be mentally-ill to the extreme. Known head case, an erratic person. Fought with every neighbor on her street (one neighbor chose to move). Had an affair with another neighbor's husband, etc. She'd filed Domestic Violence charges against two previous husbands. Said of this both had drinking problems, etc. In the beginning I believed all of it, in fact every word. Had no reason to doubt anything this woman was telling me. Then came a missing external hard drive, a little one. All of my personal info, banking data, birth certificate, social security number, passwords to all of my accounts, etc. I'd bought this with me in a little dufflebag. Took a shower at her house that day. The fateful day all of my personal info went MIA. Make matters worse? There was porn on the hard drive, i.e. gay porn, bi-porn, as I'd been dealing with a sexual identity-crisis. One in which I was quite ashamed of. To make matters worse I have a responsible position in my city, would be shamed/humiliated/outed. So for a while I was too scared to act. Said nothing to her, but was sure I'd left it there, and/or she'd intentionally went into my personal effects once I was under the shower. For a few months I was terrified of the missing flash/pen drive surfacing. There were other things on the pen/flash drive, but I wasn't really sure what. Cut to two months later. She'd been drinking one night. Takes prescription meds before, during and after "a couple drinks." She began querying me about my sexual. To tell her the truth, the truth, the truth. She had a right to know, to know, to know (honest to God I don't even know, as I've never acted on this fantasy). At this point I realize it was her, that she'd swiped it, had it in her possession, probably discussed it with her family and friends. I waited to act, however Attorney Kestenbaum took the time to respond and with a thoughtful, safe response, i.e. to protect myself against this woman. Therefore a few weeks were spent, in Attorney Kestenbaum's words, "Getting out in front of it, filing a police report etc." This offers me only a little solace and relief, however it DOES offer me way MORE than I had before. So thanks to Attorney Kestenbaum I understand my own legal rights. Have connected all the dots to this woman's PREVIOUS life prior to my having contact. Realized that blackmail might be a game of hers, thus the two previous husbands becoming enraged. Her then filing "Domestic Violence" charges against both in order to further insulate and protect her. It also made sense of her history terrorizing her neighbors, sleeping with a neighbor's husband, etc. - another next door neighbor MOVING and to escape her. I'd plum ran into a sociopath, the most dangerous type of person. Posing as a gentle older woman, i.e. someone very very normal. Now she can do whatever she wants with the pen/flash drive, I have absolutely no control. But what Attorney Kestenbaum graced me with was peace of mind, plus I'm dealing with my own self-sexuality-fears in a more appropriate setting, i.e. therapy. This attorney has 34 positive reviews here, is one of AVVO's top responders. Plus he's known as one of the best Criminal Attorneys in the State, let alone the Valley area of Los Angeles. Much gratitude Attorney Kestenbaum. Will let as many as possible know about Attorney Kestenbaum's generosity here - as six previous attorney's blew me off. Didn't so much as respond. Not David S.
