I strongly recommend staying away from this lawyer. Due to her negligence, or possibly the negligence of her staff (if she has any), there were serious mistakes in my case. My court hearings were postponed several times because my personal documents were not properly attached to my case file. At one ...point, the prosecutor even wanted to deny my case, claiming that I had taken someone else’s spot. After my case was lost, she gave me time to think about filing an appeal until a specific date. However, before even waiting for my response, she refused to continue working with me. Her services are extremely expensive, yet there is no sense of responsibility for the outcome or the quality of work. My advice: stay away from this attorney and her office. She is very arrogant and demonstrates a highly unprofessional and incompetent attitude toward her clients.

The first and most critical step is finding the right attorney with knowledge and experience with whom we can effectively work and spend as little money as possible. We feel that Anna’s fees were fair and reasonable. After you read our story, we hope you will agree that no one can argue with success. I am an American citizen with a Russian wife. We were living in Russia when in April 2023 we began researching US immigration attorneys using the AILA as a starting point. We identified dozens of attorneys and narrowed the search down to six to remotely interview. Anna Tsibel was one of the six. In April and July 2023 she gave us very valuable advice which convinced us to work with her. In August 2023 we fled Russia and travelled to Mexico where we intended to use the CBP One appointment process for my wife to legally enter the United States. When she attended her CBP One appointment at San Ysidro, California in February 2024 she was immediately detained by CBP and turned over to ICE for pre-removal detention. CBP and ICE refused to allow her to contact Anna Tsibel. But Anna immediately helped me to track down where my wife was being detained. When we learned she was detained in Louisiana, Anna recommended a Louisiana-based expert on ICE detention. After 7 weeks, this expert was eventually successful in getting my wife paroled from detention. In November 2024 Anna Tsibel began representing us for two processes: the removal proceedings and requesting a change of status for my wife to obtain her green card. Anna successfully handled the Master Court Hearing in December 2024 for the removal proceeding with an Individual Hearing being set for October 2027. Anna then helped us to apply for asylum in December 2024 and submit the I-130 and I-485 in January 2025. She prepared us for and she remotely attended our I-485 interview in October 2025. Within one day my wife’s green card was approved. Anna filed a motion for the Immigration Court to drop the removal proceedings. This was immediately approved by the Court and the government did not appeal the decision. It is almost impossible to put in words all the ways our lives have changed because of resolving my wife’s immigration issues. We went from extreme physical fear in July 2023 while still in Russia, to shock and anguish when my wife was detained in ICE prison, to shock and elation when we left the I-485 interview with our application approved, to jubilant celebration when my wife’s green card arrived in the mail. We can say that our lives have returned to normal and we look forward to a positive future in the United States. No one can put a price on this wonderful outcome. Over the years (2023-2025) we consulted and worked remotely with Anna Tsibel and Ace Immigration. We never had any issues with our communications or her responsiveness to our questions or document submissions. Of course, everyone’s immigration case is unique. Although we originally wanted to have an attorney highly versed in specific issues for Russian nationals, our experiences with her led us to determine that she is much much more than a Russian expert.
