Incredibly Impressive Representation for Arbitration

I own businesses in a high liability industry and have had to deal with dozens of attorneys over the last 10 years or so and equally as many lawsuits. I had been using one of Anthony's partners, Greg Perleberg, for all of our trademarks for a number of years. Greg is legitimately the best trademark ...attorney I have ever come across and it's unbelievable what he can do through his relationships and understanding of the system. When we found ourselves being sued, Greg referred me to Anthony and said he was an incredibly good litigation attorney and would take care of us. As we started working on the case together it was very casual and we had limited interactions. As we began to approach the the arbitration date and started to lean into the prep work, his professionalism began to show. He was organized, punctual, and spent a TON of time getting me prepped. Being completely honest, I did feel like he had just a bit of a cavalier attitude going into the last couple weeks. He continued to reassure me anytime I raised questions or concerns, which happened frequently, that he had it under control. I seriously felt like we had a couple blind spots and was nervous. I would like to also point out that Anthony voluntarily got on a plane from LA and flew up to Seattle for this without hammering me on travel times and the like. He could have pushed the arbitrator for a video arbitration but it wasn't even a question for him, he just did it. Additionally, the date of arbitration was 6-17-20 which, need I remind you, was in the middle of a global pandemic and a portion of Seattle had literally been taken over by protestors. If you were watching national news it looked like the city was burning to the ground. When Anthony arrived, we met at his hotel for a quick once over of the materials and to go walk the court house to ensure we had routes to and from the arbitration room, where we were going to meet, where we were going to sit, etc all mapped out (impressive). During the final prep I was still a little nervous that we just didn't have all our ducks in a row. There was a statement made that I will never forget when I told him I was going to use my laptop for exhibit review. He looked to me and said very directly, no you are going to use this notebook, I've got it all mapped out, just stick to the script. For whatever reason, I just felt a little concerned, he just seemed too casual about everything. 5 minutes in, away goes any concern about lack of preparation. This guy is literally built for this and his performance during the first day of was exceptional. He was precise, direct, and got the point across while dealing with technical terminology for our business that I know for a fact he previously knew nothing about. He flew through the exhibit book (now I knew why we were sticking to it) in a way that literally made opposing counsels head spin and Im fairly sure the plaintiff's witnesses immediately began to regret their choice about suing us. Unfortunately, opposing counsel was incredibly disorganized and ultimately caused the arbitration to go another day via Zoom call giving opposing counsel another pass at me. During the Zoom call opposing counsel hammered me and I was pissed. Well, I was pissed until it came time for closing arguments. Their attorney went and it was terrible. Quick, disorganized, and not effective. It was now Anthony's turn and I became very aware of where he truly stands out. Anthony's closing statement literally was the best 30 minutes of my professional career. He absolutely decimated their case and he did it in a professional respectful way. The only thing I am disappointed about is that I dont have a video recording of it to watch anytime I get down because it was truly amazing. He followed up with a thank you call and it was the first time in my life that I have ever felt I got my moneys worth out of an attorney.
