Ima Eyen Ephraim Nsien

Ima E. Nsien is an Associate Attorney at Manatt Phelps & Phillips LLP

Ms. Nsien practices in civil litigation, emphasizing healthcare law.  Ms. Nsien began her career at the California Department of Justice representing state agencies, including the Department of Health Care Services, in a variety of civil matters. She is prepared to assist in all stages of litigation, including conducting legal research, handling law and motion matters, and written discovery, as well counseling clients to help them reach favorable settlements.

Ms. Nsien also served as a judicial law clerk for family law judges, Hon. Christine Byrd, Hon. Bruce Iwasaki, Hon. Patrick Cathcart and Hon. Marc Gross, of Los Angeles Superior Court, where she managed four law and motion calendars providing legal research and writing support to her judicial officers.

Ms. Nsien received her Bachelors of Arts from the University of Southern California, where she graduated magna cum laude majoring in International Relations with an emphasis in Global Business, and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law.  Ms. Nsien is committed to providing high quality legal work on behalf of her clients.
