Leonard Brazil

My Practice - My litigation practice is primarily in the areas of employment law and unfair competition. To assist companies in minimizing risks and litigation exposure in the employment arena, my practice also includes substantial advice and counsel work to management in such areas as wage and hour laws, establishing and enforcing employment policies and procedures and assisting in pretermination evaluations. I also assist companies in conducting compliance with federal and state employment laws and am an active lecturer on a variety of employment topics.

My Education - I earned a bachelor's degree in public administration from the University of Southern California, cum laude in 1979. I went on to Loyola Law School and received a law degree in 1982. While in law school, I received the Judge William M. Byrne, Sr. Trial Advocacy Award and was a member of the National Trial Advocacy Team.

My Activities - I am actively involved in the American Business Trial Lawyers Assocation, am a member of the Employment Section of the Los Angeles County Bar, and am a past chairman of the Community Advisory Committee for Special Education for the West San Gabriel Valley School Districts. I also served as a Special Olympics Coach and am past treasurer of a fundraising division of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
