Nancy Kardon

I cannot say enough good things about Nancy Kardon. I was charged with 3 counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust. There were 2 victims. I was looking at 20 years in prison. Due to Nancy’s skill, knowledge, expertise and hard work, she was able to secure a plea bargain... for 2 counts, each carrying 15 years on probation which was to run concurrently. This meant I would spend 15 years on probation, not 30. This kept me out of prison or jail. Nancy also ensured my probation was a determinant length of time. Therefore if I violated probation any jail sentence would also be determinant. I then violated the terms of my probation. My violations were technical, meaning I broke the rules of probation, but I did not reoffend or break any laws I had a consensual sexual relationship with an adult woman who had children the relationship was not approved by probation and was considered very serious by both my probation officer and the Douglas County District Attorney office. They thought the violations were so serious the DAs office assigned their chief attorney and asked for the maximum penalty, 12 years in state prison for each charge, to ru n consecutively, meaning I would serve 24 years. They offered no plea. Nancy shined again. Her diligence, skill , hard work and knowledge triumphed and I avoided any prison time. I was put back on probation Nancy Kardon was the key factor in formulating my defense and securing an immensely positive outcome from very serious and daunting challenges to my freedom.

It's been the most incredibly sustained emotional rollercoaster of epic proportions these past 8 months. She’s the best Attorney I’ve ever had plain & simple! She’s gotten me out of a couple difficult situations & I don’t think I could’ve gotten a better deal with any other attorney but her.
