Last Spring, I walked out of Boulder County Jail absolutely speechless, depressed I felt like my whole life changed and all my dreams about my life started to fade. Walking out jail with nothing but the clothes on my back was truly the rock bottom of my life. I haven’t had a speeding ticket in my en...tire life and all of a sudden now I am accused of a felony and several misdemeanors. So my neighbors thought we are fighting and reported me for a domestic violence, Even after my girlfriend tried to make them understand what exactly happened the police still arrested me. We both were shocked and absolutely speechless we had no idea what’s happening. To make it even worse I was blocked by a no-contact order from any communication with my girlfriend. Nancy is outstanding , She takes her phone calls and returns them quickly if she is unavailable. She takes the time to explain things and answer any of your questions. That has not been my experience with all attorneys. She was hired to defend my son who was facing a mandatory 30 years to life for ...his drug and gun charges. At sentencing he received 4 years , which still my be reduced by another year, due to a special drug addition program that he was put into. Nancy' s demeanor in the courtroom was excellent, and I believe that is well respected by judges, which can certainly sway there mental process in decision making. My son took many career and self help courses during his time in prison , at the suggestion of Nancy. I believe that this was also a major factor in the sentece that he was given.
