Laura Lynn Westray

I have been practicing law for approximately 25 years.  I founded my own family law firm in 1995.   I have devoted my practice exclusively to family law for the past 15 years.  I am currently a Settlement Officer/Mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court, Central and Southwest Districts.  I am also a fee arbitratoar for the Santa Monica Bar Association.  I was formerly the chair of the Family Law Section for the Santa Monica Bar Association.  I am a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's and South Bay Bar Association's family law sections.

My practice ranges from uncontested dissolutions to complex dissolutions, including valuation and division of businesses, real estate investments, stock options, child custody, child support, spousal support, domestic violence and restraining orders, prenuptial agreements and mediation.  I have a background in finance and real estate which assists me in my practice.  I am a also a licensed California Real Estate Broker. 

I graduated from USC Law School in 1989 in the top ten of my class, as a member of Order of the Coif.   I received my Bachelor of  Science degree from California State University of Northridge in 1985, with a 3.9 grade point average, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

My personal hobbies include water skiing, sailing, snow skiing, tennis, yoga, aerobics, music, theatre and the arts.   I reside in Redondo Beach, California with my eight (8) year old son and my office is located approximately 2 miles from my residence.
