Reassuring Consultation

Reaching out to talk to a family law attorney is not easy, but the conversation with Angela was extremely helpful, informative and personable. She answered all of my questions completely and made me feel comfortable. If I will need an attorney to move forward on anything, I trust that she is the righ...t one for the case.

Thanks a zillion!

I usually struggle with writing reviews. But in this instance it is a no brainer. Hire her. She will fight for you and you kid. She was able to help me escape an abusive husband and rebuild my life. Starting over is tough and Ms. Brown won’t paint a false picture but she will lead the way throug...h the trying times. She helped me stand up to my husband and get what I deserved in our negotiation. We didn’t even have to go to court. Great experience!

She made a hard time for me as easy as possible! A truly caring Attorney

I found Angela online, and she delivered everything she promised she could. My divorce was quick, professional, and the cost was as quoted our first conversation. I have recommended Angela, and I know that the job she did for my friend was equally as wonderful! She is a true professional and now, ...she is a friend!

My personal and professional opinion differ greatly

I hired Angela Brown's law firm back in March, 2013 and terminated our contract in August, 2014. Initially, Angela spent an ample amount of time with me, and at times stayed late past business hours to discuss my case and assisted me with acquiring my son's prescription medication due to an error on... my son's mothers part and while I resided in CA at the time. Unfortunately as time went on, contact with her became less and less and my case seemed to be less and less important to her. I am the first person to appreciate what a busy schedule is like but eventually my concerns about my representation were greater than the quality of my evidence. The two most concerning issues were that it took three weeks to send me a description of a letter she received regarding an important matter of my son’s case. Lastly, and this was after I terminated our contract, it took her two months to draft an order after a temporary hearing back in September 18th, 2013. As of September 18th, 2014, (yes, a year later) the order was still not signed by my son's amicus attorney or my son's mother. Both Angela and Michael Whalen seem to be intelligent people whom are sharp minded and highly skilled. My personal opinion is they have too many clients to provide cases like mine with the quality representation it required. When I initiated the termination of my contacted with Angela, I greatly appreciated her recognizing my concerns and she offering a possible resolution. The cost of the solution would have been a great stretch but by that time I simply lost trust in her firm. There are other attorneys I suggest on the website (Ilana Tanner and Channing Neary). If you found my review helpful, I suggest speaking with them along with anyone else on your list. Angela and Michael, thank you for all of your efforts and thank you for your understand for why I terminated the contract. I wish the two of you success in your future endeavors.
