Wonderful Firm

Let's face it, finding a lawyer for any reason can be very stressful. I'm here to say, Mary and her team exceeded my expectations of a law firm. Mary takes every case with a level of passion and dedication that makes you feel very comfortable with trusting her with your case. She reads and responds to every email, document, and question. She made me feel as though I was the only customer. LJ, by far, is the most diligent, calm, and industrious paralegal. I've worked directly with her for over a year and everyday she deposited something valuable into my case. She not only assisted Mary but she was an integral part to my own preparation. No matter how often I called or emailed, they provided quality customer service. This is a very family oriented law firm. They went from being complete strangers to lifelong friends. Being an out of state client, I knew nothing about NC laws nor was I organized with case details. They removed every obstacle, they created organized and detailed binders, and they knew my life story better than I did. I'm forever grateful for such a well verse and dedicated group of professionals that don't look at clients as just clients but as family members.

Mary was very direct and clear about her recommendations, but was also willing to do whatever I asked during a very complicated custody, equitable distribution and divorce process. She was supportive and has a great sense of humor. She has good relationships with her legal counterparts, which ultimately makes the most difference in and out of court. Wendy was also very responsive and helpful. Since this was a complex case, there were some things that did not turn out as expected, but Mary and Wendy were always upfront with me and walked through what the next steps would be. The only feedback for improvement would be occasionally administrative things were a little disorganized (for instance forgetting to correct errors in paperwork, disposing of the wrong document, having to do some things while I waited rather than having it ready), but there was nothing that impacted the case negatively. Overall, they took care of whatever needed to happen and made sure my best interests were covered.

Highly recommend

Mary and her staff handled my custody and separation matters. Mary was very knowledgable and provided me with the information I needed during a highly contested divorce. She did an excellent job in court and I was well represented through the entire case. Would highly recommend.

Great Experience

Mary and her entire staff were great. She always was very responsive to my questions, understands the local system and structure very well and offered outstanding advice, based on the situation at hand. She was compassionate to the things that were important to me, while applying common sense to the situation to help settle things in a quick and fair manner. Excellent and personable attorney

Mary was just the attorney I needed to get me through my very difficult divorce. Not only is she an extremely capable attorney, but she was understanding and comforting during a pretty difficult time. Mary is an expert in her field and easy to work with too. I highly recommend her.
