Jed Ross Silverman

I unfortunately had to meet Jed on bad circumstances. I was facing 2 charges, one a felony the other a misdemeanor. Jed was able to get my felony charge dismissed, today we went to trial for my misdemeanor and I watched Jed work the magic he had told me about. The man loves trials. He was exceptio...nally thorough, had all his ducks in a row while the prosecution did not. We got the not guilty verdict and I couldn’t be more relieved. If you're reading Attorney reviews You must need legal advice just like I did over a year ago. I was arrested and charged with a crime I didn't commit. If you have never had to deal with the Justice System before it's Overwhelming! Bail,Bond,Attorney Fees,Family Stress, proving your innocent, Who ...do I hire to represent me?. Oh yeah I forgot about my Job. One more uncertainty will My Job be understanding ? The Money , How much is all this going to cost Us? Well Mr. Silverman listened to our story and gave us Peace of Mind from WORRYING Right from the start. We were told what he could do and also what to Expect. You need that peace of mind because that's what you lost once you were accused of a crime. It went exactly the way he told us it would and the time it would take. Time slows down when you have this happen to you. What, Jed Ross Silverman, did for me??? That's a great question and I can not tell you my story in the 4,000 characters or less that I'm allowed here to describe my experience with him and all that transpired... The short answer would be that He gave me my life back... When I was accused of committin...g an infraction of the law, Jed Ross Silverman, gave me a voice. He ensured that my story was not one sided. Were it not for him I could have been screaming at the top of my lungs through a megaphone and yet my voice would have fallen on deaf ears. As a result of the arrest I immediately lost my job that I had been at for almost 20 years. I lost my home, my car, and my independence. Needless to say that I felt alone and afraid of what was to come next. Not knowing what to do to begin sorting out my problem I walked into Ms. Silverman's office and told him my story. After listening to what I had to say I asked Mr. Silverman if He thought I had a chance at winning. He looked at me and said "I have a lot of experience dealing with your type of case. However, I do not have a 'Magic silver bullet' to kill this animal with, but I can tell you this. If you fight there's a chance you might beat this, but if you don't there's a 100% chance that they will find you guilty." His honesty and directness was comforting to me. I consider myself to be very direct and honest, so that's a character trait that I highly respect in a person. I hired him immediately. Mr. Silverman took my case and got to work. He went behind the scenes and uncovered all the wrongful accusations, mistakes in police procedures, and behavior unbecoming of an officer of the law. At trial Ms. Silverman was extremely prepared not missing a single detail or point associated with my defense. It was clearly evident that Ms. Silverman did his homework. So much so that at one point during my trial the arresting officer in my case had to stop and think before answering any questions. I remember turning to Ms. Silverman and asking him "Why is the officer hesitating before answering any questions?". To which he replied "He has to think about his answer because he's afraid of committing purgery ", Wow!!! My side of the story was being heard was all I could think. Ultimately, what I'm trying to communicate to anyone that is considering hiring Mr. Silverman is to not over think it. There are so many attorneys out there that one can waste precious time trying to pick the right one. If you need an attorney that will give you a voice, loves to win, and has an extremely strong work ethic the choice is clear, Mr. Jed Ross Silverman, is the way to go. To those of you reading this, my case was won by Mr. Silverman in April of 2015. When we were walking out of the court room I asked Jed (we were on a first name basis by then) if there was a way I could rite a review of him? He told me "AVVO, You can write a review for me there." Well, today is 04/03/18 almost 3 years to the day since Jed won my case. Why I never wrote this earlier I don't know, but today I'm writing this review from my new home. My job that I lost as a result of the arrest was returned to me the very next day after Jed came back with a "Not Guilty" Verdict. Jed's profile picture on this site has a pic of him next to a German Shepherd, how appropriate, I think. German Shepherd's are know for being highly protective and excellent guard dogs. Qualities that you will find in Jed. However, if Jed were a dog I don't think he would be a full blooded German Shepherd because, believe me, this man has a lot of Pitbull in him too. He is vicious when it comes to defending and guardian his clients.

I got a dui about 20 months ago. I work in Accounting and even a pending misdemeanor was enough to cause me to lose out on job offers.
