also known as Jim Story
I have more than 20 years of litigation experience. Six of those years were as a prosecutor with the Nueces County District Attorney's Office. I started in Justice of the Peace Court, moved on to Misdemeanor's and then finally to Felony court. This experience was invaluable as I learned how to evaluate, develop and prosecute cases. In 2005 I transitioned into private practice with my law firm in Corpus Christi. I now handle criminal and family law cases. My years of service in the DA's office and my work since leaving allows me to effectively represent my clients in trial courts around the state. I enjoy helping good people caught in bad situations. My firm has offices in Corpus Christi and Houston. Check our firm website at for more information and FAQ videos.

I hired this man to defend me in a case, I paid $5k for a retainer. Before even getting anywhere near trial or even getting discovery he was suggesting plea bargains. I decided this was not the lawyer for me and went with someone else. I asked for my money to be refunded but he never gave anything ba...
