Cindy has spent her entire legal career in Houston and the surrounding areas, and is a specialist in all types of family law and divorce cases including appeals. She has tried many cases before both judges and juries in Texas, and has represented clients successfully through the appeals process. She is liscensed to practice in the Texas State Courts and has also been admitted to practice before many Federal Courts, including the Southern District of Texas, the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Cindy Diggs has been selected to Superlawyers every year since 2009. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates as well as the International Academy of Family Lawyers-- both of which are invitation-only organizations-- where she serves as a delegate or serves on and chairs committees of these organizations at the local, state, national and even international levels.
Cindy is a member and a Past-President of the Association of Women Attorneys in Houston. She is also a Founding member of the Center for Women in Law at the University of Texas, Austin.
Cindy is active in the community, among other activities, she served on the board as well as the advisory board of the Houston Urban Debate League, and served for 10 years on the Board of Directors of Houston's Stages Repertory Theatre.
Cindy served on the Pattern Jury Charge Committee, Family Law, State Bar of Texas from 2001 to 2002.
Cindy earned her juris doctorate in 1984 from The University of Texas School of Law, where she was an Associate Editor of The Texas Law Review and a member of the Order of the Barristers. She represented The University of Texas School of Law as a member of its National Moot Court Team and National Mock Trial Teams.
