I have devoted my adult life to preparing and practicing criminal defense law. The time I spent as an Assistant District Attorney was to gain experience for my private practice. My children have followed in my footsteps and as a result my son practices criminal law with me and my daughter is a prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney's Office. People often ask me when I plan to retire. I say to them, "Why? I love working with my kids and I live for the everyday challenge of protecting the constitutional rights of the accused. Advanced trial and people skills can only be developed thru years of of waging the good fight for clients in the courtroom. I have enjoyed my duties as Adjunct Professor of Criminal Law and Procedure at San Jacinto College and I take every opportunity possible to mentor young lawyers who are trying to learn our complicated and important system of justice.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
I had the pleasure of working with Sam Adamo recently on a very difficult case. He represented a client of mine, who was falsely accused by his spouse of Assault-Family Violence in the middle of a high-conflict divorce. If we needed his advice for maneuvering the sensitive matters of the allegation as it related to the divorce proceedings, he supported our team every step of the way. Our client was delighted with the results of his representation. Sam Adamo's reputation precedes him and I would not hesitate to recommend him in the future!

Relationship: Worked together on matter
Sam Adamo has long been a respected member of the criminal bar. I met Sam at a Super Lawyers event and it wasn't long before I referred clients to him who were facing criminal charges in connection with divorce matters I was handling. He recently assisted a client of mine in a particularly serious matter, and was there for him every step of the way. My client was thrilled with the results of Sam's representation. He was wonderful to work with, I recommend him highly.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
Sam Adamo is by far one of the most caring, hardworking and thorough attorneys I have had the privilege to work with. During a client consultation, I was absolutely floored by the level of patience, knowledge and respect Sam gives his clients. Sam is a pillar in the legal community and a strong advocate for anyone charged with a crime in the State or Federal system.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I emphatically endorse Mr. Sam Adamo. Sam is one of the few genuine, honest and hard working lawyers in our field. He was kind enough to take time to mentor me when I first entered the criminal defense world. He is always a professional and works hard to achieve great results for his clients. His wide range of experiences over the years allows him to have a very unique perspective that is a clear advantage in his practice. And lastly, Sam is one of the most eloquent lawyers that I have ever had the privilege of watching in trial.
