On August 7, 2012, while riding my bicycle I was struck by an automobile. I remember waking up as they were wheeling me into the ambulance. Although I have no memory of the accident, apparently I was knocked unconscious to the ground. This bent my bicycle frame and wheel and also broke my bicycle ...helmet. The witness said she saw my head bounce three times. According to the police report, the driver was clearly at fault as she turned into my lane in a crosswalk.
