also known as Andrew "Pike" Piekalkiewicz
Andrew "Pike" Piekalkiewicz is a trial lawyer in private practice. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Law and became a member of the State Bar of Texas in 1993. Throughout his years of practicing law, he has successfully represented thousands of seriously injured people, business owners involved in various disputes, and those accused of serious crimes. He has tried numerous car wreck cases, personal injury, general civil and serious criminal cases as sole counsel to juries in state and federal court. Mr. Piekalkiewicz to owns and manages Law Offices of Andrew “Pike” Piekalkiewicz, PLLC, a high volume trial practice in Houston, Texas which represents people and businesses all over the state and country.
Prior to law school, Mr. Piekalkiewicz served in the United States Army Special Forces as a certified Green Beret, having graduated from the grueling Special Forces Qualification Course in 1987. As a Special Forces A-Team Operator, Mr. Piekalkiewicz learned the intricacies of special warfare, insurgency and counterinsurgency. Mr. Piekalkiewicz perfected the skills needed to operate alone as well as with a team in extremely difficult circumstances. It was in the military during these years that his fellow soldiers nicknamed him "Sergeant Pike" given the difficulty in pronouncing his last name. The nickname stuck and Piekalkiewicz now goes by "SGT PIKE".
When 911 occurred, SGT PIKE was "chomping at the bit" to fight and volunteered for a deployment with the 20th Special Forces Group. However, after consulting with his family regarding his young children, Mr. Piekalkiewicz decided to wait. In 2007 when his young children were old enough to understand the importance of fighting for the United States of America, SGT PIKE again volunteered and re-entered the Army in 2007. In 2009, SGT PIKE deployed for a combat tour in Afghanistan at the tender age of 43. While in Afghanistan, SGT PIKE served in the volatile Kapisa Province and engaged in combat with the Taliban on numerous occasions.
