DWI 3rd

Couldn’t be more impressed with John and all of his hard work!! Went to John about a year ago for help with a 3rd dwi in Denton County (the worst County) with a not so easy judge. The offer we originally got from the DA was quite ridiculous and John suggested we take it to trial. John rocked the cour...t room and blew everyone who was against us out of the water...he didn’t have too much positive to go off of when it came to fighting for a not guilty verdict, but he still came up with an outstanding fight that had the jury stumped on whether they should say guilty or not! Unfortunately we still got a guilty verdict but in the end the punishment was still half of everything we were offered before! It was honestly the next best thing we could have gotten other than a not guilty. John was straight forward with us from the beginning about everything and what to expect, and we appreciated that as well. Couldn’t be happier with John, and will recommend him to anyone I may come across who is looking for a fantastic attorney. Thank you for everything you have done to help us John!!! Job WELL done!!!!

A "Not-so-easy-judge" is putting it mildly! The DA wanted to put Landry in the pen for several years, and I think the judge was more than ready to do so. Fortunately the jury gave him probation. I still think it should have been a not guilty verdict, but Denton County jurors are tough customers. Stay out of trouble, my friend!

DWI First Offense

DWI First Offense. I did terrible on the video. Refused the blood/breath test. Was pulled about 4 hours later with a warrant .201. To make matters worse I was in possession of a firearm. My case had no chance in trial. John somehow managed to get me a plea deal that included. Class B misdemea...nor. (No gun charge) 13 days house arrest, no fines, no court cost. 90 day license suspension. John was always very honest through the whole process. He also talked me into filing for a ALR hearing which we won. Trish was very helpful and always easy to get a hold of through the whole process. Thank you John and Trish for helping me through this nightmare.

Thank you for the kind review! Anytime you can cut a deal on a DWI case with no fine, no court costs, no jail time, and no probation on a DWI with a 0.201 blood test, that's a darned good deal! To get the gun charge dismissed as well was just a bonus! Take care of yourself! - JMG

Great Lawyer! Thank you.

I am new to this country and got involved in a DWI case. I did some research on the lawyers with avvo for DWI and zeroed on John. John spent more than an hour during my first interaction and I was convinced that he was the going to handle my case. He and his team, especially, Trish Sanders, kept m...e informed of the progress. On the trial day, he kept me honest on what my chances were. He started off with a 30% chance and once the jury was selected, he upped it to more than 50%. I got caught for DWI in May of 2017 and got myself cleared in February of 2018. He got me a 'Not Guilty' verdict and I can't thank him enough for his thoughtfulness and poking holes in the evidences that were produced. John is brilliant and I will, any day recommend him as a DWI attorney. Good luck John!

Great Job!

John Giofreddi did a fantastic job representing me. He explained to me everything that had to be done and everything that he did throughout the whole process. John is very experienced and good at what he does. I was completely satisfied with the representation of John Giofreddi. He truly keeps yo...ur best interest at heart. You get what you ask for. His advice is sound and true and when you want answers he makes sure that he provides them. He also showed he cared for what was going on and I felt that from the whole firm! I appreciate it John! Thank you for your kind review! We completed a two day jury trial with anonymous on March 22nd, 2017. He was a great guy, but unfortunately he did poorly on the sobriety tests, admitted to being a "5 to 5 1/2" on an intoxication scale of 1 to 10, and blew a 0.176 on the Intoxilyzer. The jury found him guilt in 56 minutes, but they sentenced him to 0 days in jail and a $0 fine, with no probation, so we were pleased with the sentence. Obviously 0 days in jail and a $0 fine is the minimum sentence that the law allows for a DWI 1st offense in Texas.
