Cody Wayne Dowden

The case proceeded with some serious challenges from the prosecution, but Cody handled all of them very capably. It helps that Cody has experience as a prosecutor, and so he knows exactly how to meet with these people and negotiate with them effectively. Just when my friend’s prospects were looking terribly bleak, Cody was able to convince the prosecution to treat my friend much more humanely. A plea deal was reached that got my friend out of jail in a short time under reasonable terms. On my friend’s final court date, I sat in on the proceedings at the courtroom, and I watched Cody in action as he handled my friend’s appearance before the judge and also those of several other clients he represented. In each case, I was very impressed by Cody’s performance. He was completely prepared, organized, and to the point, never wasting any time. When my friend began to falter slightly while speaking to the judge, Cody smoothly took over and explained my friend’s position in the best possible way. Everything went well; the judge wished my friend good luck, and he was released from jail several hours later. We are extremely grateful to Cody for the excellent work he did for us. If I could have Cody as my go to lawyer in Texas I would. Got a BS ticket for 20mph something over and I have a CDL. If this went on my record it would have been a nail in the coffin for me. I was shocked he was able to keep it off my record. Best attorney I’ve had hands down.

Cody was phenomenal. I spoke with EVERY lawyer in NWA after I received a reckless speeding ticket. I had a few other tickets on my driving record so I could have been facing jail time. One of the lawyers I had contacted actually told me that he guarantees I get jail time and that there was nothing he could do.
