You bring up a good point: just because a lawyer will take your money and represent you doesn't mean that lawyer is going to do the best job for you. Going from 8 years in prison to 3 months in jail (not to mention the fact that after this is over he will have no criminal record) is a HUGE difference. As far as the payments go I do my best to hep my clients when they make an effort to hold up their end of the bargain. No one should be dumped as a client just because they have some hard times, as long as they are trying. I'm very happy with how things worked out, and I'm glad that you are, too.
