I checked the reviews from Tomas G. Briody on Sunday night googling "Best DUI lawyers in Rhode Island" and I wrote him an email saying that I need a consultation ASAP. Next day Monday morning about 8:30 Thomas replied my email saying that he would be out on court, but that I could call her secretary and set up an appointment for the afternoon. He also called to my cell phone and left a message. I called Thoma's secretary and she booked a meeting at 1 pm that Monday. Thomas was on time for my appointment and he took around an hour to respond all my questions. He also explained to me in detail all possible scenarios for my case and best possible solutions. Thomas describe with accuracy how much cost his service depending my goals and how long will take each step in court. The consult was a brainstorming meeting in which both arrive to the best way to beat my case and save money for me at the end. Thomas did not charge a penny for my consult! He is not only a great lawyer, but a better person. It is not like other lawyers that only want your paycheck.
Thomas G. Briody is located at the third floor at 91 Friendship street in downtown Providence. If you are using your GPS to get there make sure you put zip code 2903 on it, because there is other street with the same name in Rhode Island (02907). If you get lost, the office is close to the Family Court. You can find cheap parking place anywhere up there.

We knew no one in Rhode Island when we suddenly had need of legal services and found Tom on a website like this one. Based on his outstanding recommendations we decided to contact him. We called Tom on Monday morning and met for a consultation on the same day. Tom won our confidence in the initial consultation with his thorough and completely honest explanation of possible outcomes and how he wanted to handle the case. Tom is always very careful to tell you what could happen, what he will try to make happen and the likelihood of both. Tom is very conscientious with how he spends his time (your money). Tom hired a private investigator to begin gathering information and interviewing witnesses the same day we hired him. Tom skillfully built a solid defense based on facts and evidence and used it to successfully negotiate a favorable settlement with the district attorney. Tom is not only a great attorney but a good person as well. Tom’s sincere interest in my son’s wellbeing helped provide my son with the direction he needed to make positive changes in his life. We are extremely grateful for Tom’s caring dedication, perseverance and intelligence.
