Fantastic
I avoided court with ex wife thanks to Andrews counsel and approach during mediation. Andrew helped me accomplish my ultimate goal in getting more time with my kids. If you need a family lawyer then please hire Andrew. 10/10 would recommend.

Good family law lawyer
Have worked with Andrew on my case several times over the last 18 months and I'm definitely glad that I chose his firm to do business with. He was responsive and listened to me to understand what I wanted to get out of my case. Definitely one of the good ones that cares about his clients. Wasn't just a number and really helped me navigate a difficult time. Very glad I hired him to represent me both in my initial divorce and in my later custody battle. He always laid out clearly what was possible, and what my options were.

Excellent Lawyer
I hired Andrew to get custody of my son. With Andrew's assistance, I was awarded permanent primary custody. I was extremely pleased with Andrew's representation of me. He responded to phone calls and emails in a timely manner and was always prepared for court. I highly recommend him.

Great Representation
Mr. Hatfield represented me on felony drug charges. He was able to get me a deal with no jail time, and then he got me released form probation early and had my record sealed. I would highly recommend him.

Representation at its finest.
Andrew fought diligently and consistently in my suit for alleged violation of Fair Trade Secrets and accused violation of non compete. He always made me feel like I was his number 1 priority. He was more invested in my case as I had seen from any attorney in past dealings and the professionalism he exuded in depositions was stellar. I have used him for advisement and representation in real estate law as well as corporate law. He comes with my respect and top recommendations.

Great attorney
Andrew is very professional and a a great person to have on your side. As with any legal issue, do yourself a favor and at least have a basic understanding of the law concerning your case. If you do this and have realistic goals, then Andrew is perfect. Andrew was the third family lawyer to represent me and by far my favorite!

Great attorney with extreme intellect and communciation
I have used Andrew several times in the past. He is very smart, great communicator and real articulate as an individual. I have referred him to several of my friends and they have said the same thing. You really want Andrew on your side if you have legal matters and need an attorney. He is a great asset.

Custody/Divorce
After I separated from my husband, I was served with papers late one day for an emergency hearing the next day over the custody of my children. I didn't have time to hire an attorney until after court that following day. After the hearing, I hired Andrew and the following business day I had my children back with me. This had been a bitter custody dispute, scary at times, but Andrew has helped me every step of the way. He has been kind and always available to answer any questions I've had. In the end, my case was a success. I've also hired him to handle my divorce case as well. He truly cares about you as a person and i didn't feel like i was just another client.

Andrew Hatfield review
Everybody told me as a father, that it is almost impossible to get full custody of my son. Even other lawyers. Andrew took my case and got me full custody in 7 months. Great lawyer and a great person.

Real estate
Sub-par with real estate issues. I was sold a worthless house with well documented proof the owner knew or should have known the home was worthless. My real estate agent and the selling agent somehow didn’t notice the long-standing and unfixable septic problems in the Prior MLS listings, Andrew didn’t see a reason to go after any realtors involved for some reason. My main issue is that Andrew is pretty bad at getting back to you and didn’t really seem to care all that much. I was out about 30 grand between home improvements and medical bills due to respiratory problems suffered by my daughter because the inside of the house smelled look poop after about a month living there, my credit went from about 790 to destroyed and he said that is not a claimable damage in court. He was good at filing the case and meeting deadlines but didn’t seem to fight for us and appeared to let the other party dictate how things would go. He dismissed my case without prejudice because he said my foreclosure had to be completed to name all of the damages. He then never returned any of my calls or emails. If you have real estate needs, go somewhere else.

Child Custody
Andrew was very unprofessional and difficult to work with not to mention quite rude. He didn’t care for my case and left in the middle of it without giving me an explanation. I had to hire another attorney in last minutes notice because he literally walked out of the courtroom. At the end of it all he only cares he gets paid. I definitely don’t recommend his services.

Horable
Andrew Hatfield we ok at first. I am from out of state and talked to him on the phone several times. We set a court date and I flew in to go. It was on a child support case. I made it clear to him that I wanted to raise the support dependent on my ex husbands income. They met with the judge in chambers without my ex husband or I. He did not ask for what I requested and agreed with the terms of the other lawyer without consulting me. After the case I paid him several more times to try to get the info my ex husband was supposed to provide in the agreement. He took my money and just stopped returning my calls or emails. I have to hire another lawyer to do what I paid him to do.

Response from Andrew Hatfield January 8, 2016
The only thing accurate about this review is that I did represent this person. This case was settled, with the approval of this client, and an order was entered ordering the opposing party to pay child support based upon his current income, plus an additional amount monthly towards his arrearage, as well as a $3,000 lump sum towards the arrearage. The client agreed to this, and I drafted an order, which was submitted to the court and signed. The order also said that if the opposing party ever fell behind again, he would immediately be found in contempt upon any filing by my client. Finally, I checked the court file, and this person has not filed any other action or hired an attorney since I represented her, so that claim is false. as well.

Great until he became Alderman
All was great, representation and communication. Fees were too high, but that was ok. UNTIL......he was running for council. Then, he let me fry with my ex and their attorney because he did not want to piss off the judge. He did not cross examine, did not follow up with questions to help the judge understand my side. NOTHING. He's now all politics and no guts for defending your position if it might make him look bad in front of the judge.
