Ethan is the attorney you want!!

After dealing with my discrimination issues from my former employer over the past year, I was worn down and very nervous going into EEOC mediation. As I searched for an attorney to represent me, Ethan was the first attorney to call me back and he was great! He is an expert in employment law and HR is...sues. Before mediation we discussed my case and all possible outcomes. He even gave me a little grooming on how to present myself. Boy was I glad to have Ethan on my side during mediation. He was like a "professional pit bull" in there fighting for me! This was the most comfortable I'd ever felt addressing my case. He negotiated a fair settlement with my former employer, which was much more than they offered! If you're looking for an attorney that sincerely cares about your situation, Ethan is the attorney you want!!

Whistleblower Expert

Ethan is highly intelligent, professional, articulate, and very knowledgeable of the law. In particular, his experience was helpful as we debated the pro's and con's of various courses of action. I worked for a medical company. Ethan had represented several when he worked for defendants prior to ...opening his own firm. I was fired and offered severance shortly after taking issue with some FDA-regulated irregularities that were making me uncomfortable. Ethan and his staff quickly got up to speed on our industry specifics and began interviewing other employees and client contacts. He quickly realized that the severance on the table was not even close to adequate given my legitimate concerns and the retaliation that appeared to have taken place. We agreed to push on and publicly "blow the whistle." He thoroughly prepared me and walked me through step-by-step as the case proceeded. He was incredibly responsive and accessible even on almost a 24 x 7 basis. The Company offered significantly more severance in a few weeks time and I took it -- although Ethan was eager to push this to court. I would have felt strongly represented and safe with Ethan in court but the money was what I needed at the time and I didn't want to be a litigant if I didn't have to be. With all of his expertise, compassion and charm, I was most impressed with his follow through because even after the case was resolved he helped me through a couple of items that needed attention. I would highly recommend him without any reservation.

Fantastic result

I contacted Ethan Zelizer in the wake of wrongful conduct, retaliation, and other sensitive workplace issues. From the first conversation to the last, he was well-balanced, combining professional efficiency and acumen with a relaxed disposition and understanding. Mr. Zelizer was bold when the situati...on required, respectful of me and others in the situation, and attentive to the tense and shifting atmosphere. Honest and no nonsense

Ethan is a special type of attorney -- caring, honest and willing to help you even if it means losing a contingency fee. He cares about what's best for you, not the money you represent. Don't get me wrong, Ethan charges for his consultations like all good attorneys do. Their time is very valuable. Th...e nice thing about ethan is if he can help you quickly and efficiently, he will. We met for an hour at his Chicago office. I'm having issues with my current employer and wanted to file a charge and lawsuit. Ethan talked me through the law and showed me that I needed to work with corporate HR and give them a chance to fix things. He helped draft an email to the HR department and then game planned how the next few weeks would likely go -- down to who would likely interview me and what I should be expected to say. He was right on everything and I was prepared and felt confident. At the end of the consult, Ethan had convinced me to wait on filing anything and to work with my employer. He offered his email, text and cell if I ran into any issues. He was happy to represent me if needed but he was hopeful that wouldn't be the case. He was right. Things are better. I needed somebody to help me through this and direct me. Ethan was the right man for the job. Honest and no nonsense. Several other attorneys were happy to charge me an hourly rate or sign me up on a retainer and contingency and make it confrontational from the start. In the end, Ethan knew that wasn't best for me and although it wasn't the most lucrative case for him (he only charged the consult fee -- that's it), he treated me like a client and gave me his full attention. I hope I don't need an employment attorney in the future -- but if I do -- it will be Ethan Zelizer that I hire. If only the rest of the attorneys out there were as fair and kind as him.

An Amazingly Talented + Understanding Attorney

I was SO nervous to go through the process of filing a wrongful termination lawsuit. After speaking with several other attorneys, I was in tears, thinking all attorneys were the same. But at last, Ethan Zelizer was recommended to me and upon speaking to him, I immediately felt at ease. He is so patie...nt, kind, and understanding. He gives full disclosure of the entire process so your expectations are realistic. He is very sensitive and also, quite funny and an absolute pleasure to work with.
