PERSONAL STATEMENT:
I return calls and emails promptly; I make myself available. I stand by the advice I give and make sure you understand the process. I have the experience that counts. I concentrate my practice in the area of family law, including: dissolution of marriage (divorce); allocation of parenting responsibilities (child custody and visitation); paternity matters; child support; maintenance; and property allocation. I'm experienced in the difficult issues that may arise in divorce and family law matters. The legal system can be confusing and harsh; I am here to advocate for you, make sure that you understand your options, and help you make informed decisions. My goal is always to leave you with the best result possible.
AWARDS AND BACKGROUND:
I have won the Avvo Client’s Choice Award in 2016, 2019 and 2021. Also, I was designated an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers in 2019 – 2022. Less than 2% of all lawyers licensed in each state have received the distinction of Emerging Lawyer. Further, I was designated as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers (Thompson Reuters) in 2021 and 2022. My undergraduate education focus was finance. During law school, I volunteered as a Supreme Court Rule 711 law clerk with the Cook County Domestic Violence Legal Clinic. I also volunteered with the John Marshall Law School Voluntary Income Tax Assistance Clinic.
