This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
Reprimand means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State gives the lawyer a public reprimand in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.
James’s comment: “I have handled many out-of-state legal matters for a number of clients. I have always moved the court for permission to appear after notifying opposing counsel of my licensure status. In all but one case I have been granted such. In MN I was given Private Probation for too many admissions on a MN opposing attorney's complaint; the WI regulatory body desired not to honor reciprocal discipline & compelled me to stipulate to a public reprimand. I did. I accept responsibility & ask what harm?”

James is a really great attorney. He kept us informed on all progress. Went the extra mile when it became necessary. Best of all he looked out for my interests and helped me win a settlement .

Dealing with legal matters is unbelievably stressful, hence having knowledgeable, professional and "trustworthy" representation is always important. However when you reside outside the state of your court case it's absolutely crucial on every level and James CW Bock is without question the best of the best. James not only provided me with the highest level of service, he gave me something that money can't necessarily buy —a sense of security and peace of mind throughout the duration of my case.
Professionally James possesses expertise in numerous areas of the law, which made him an invaluable resource during my extremely complicated divorce. We had jurisdictional issues, financial issues as well as cultural issues since the man I was divorcing resided on an Indian reservation. James went above and beyond to be sure that everything was consistently handled promptly and effectively at every turn —and there were plenty of complex aspects to tackle. James was dependable, creative and incredibly honest. He also made sure I fully understood each aspect of my case as it evolved. Additionally the awareness I gained gave me clarity and confidence despite being so far away. I've found that many divorce attorneys including the two I let go of prior to retaining James encourage a divisive and aggressive stance in divorce matters. Such an approach significantly raises the stress levels and can also unnecessarily complicate the ability to reach a settlement favorably. However James maintained a completely solution oriented approach throughout in addition to helping me stay focused on achieving the best possible outcome with the least amount of emotional drama. This was invaluable to me and greatly facilitated our ability to conclude matters successfully.
On the personal side James is man of great integrity and compassion. He understood how emotionally taxing it felt for me to be several states away from where my case was taking place, thus he always checked in to see how I was feeling, addressed any of my fears and concerns, and made sure that I felt calm and assured as the case progressed. Between my family members, friends and myself I've had plenty of exposure to attorneys hence I know that the service James provides is exceptional and certainly beyond the norm. He successfully navigated all the complex aspects of my case with a fantastic attitude. Even more I felt like I had a partner with my best interests in mind throughout the duration of my case.
All in all I cannot recommend James CW Bock highly enough. He is in my opinion the best you're going to find. Being able to have that kind of trust and faith is rare. Give him a call and retain him without hesitation. It will be the most advantageous call you make.

Attorney Bock achieved terrific results on my difficult case, and stuck by me during post-decree litigation. I have seen quite a few attorneys in action, but James out performs them all through his professionalism, knowledge of the law, and experience. Through numerous court appearances and hearings, I always felt as if the representation provided was the best available. There is not another attorney I would rather have on my side.
