Michael B. Kelly

After an unfortunate retail fraud incident, i got Mike Kelly on board. Mike wanted to know more about me and my background and once he heard everything, Mike laid out a very clear, practical, achievable, proactive plan for me. He also had a plan for himself. I worked on my plan and Mike worked on his.... Once i followed through on everything Mike asked me to do, he executed his plan. Mike worked with the Prosecutor and then laid the case in front of the judge in such an excellent way that my charges are going to be completely dropped after my reduced probation time. The time and conditions for probation were also negotiated to be very simple. Lastly the plan he put me through not only helped me get the best result in court but i have reached a point where i will never ever repeat my action. Mike is more of a lawyer and counselor. About half way through the process, I was told by an anonymous person that i shouldnt worry because i have the best lawyers possible in the entire state. Now I can attest to that statement that indeed...... Mike Kelly is the best lawyer in the state of Michigan !!!

Mike has an excellent approach and a good team behind him. I was consulted promptly and efficiently, and completed all of the items he outlined, and had my Reckless Driving Misdemeanor reduced to a Civil Infraction, without even having to go before a judge. I would highly recommend him and his firm... for all serious driving related cases. I initially contacted another lawyer at his firm and was hesitant when they switched me to an (apparently) less experienced lawyer, but I was reassured by his professionalism and specific knowledge of the Livingston County 54th District Court. He clearly explained what was happening, in terms I could easily understand, and made sure I was taking all of the appropriate steps to ensure a good outcome. Definitely follow his pro-active process, it seems a bit over the top at first, but if you stick to the plan it will help you in the long run. The only negative I can think of would be that the price was a bit steep IMO, but when you're looking at a 90 day license suspension, 6 points, and a several hundred dollar fine (plus driver responsibility fees...), then it doesn't make sense to spend less on a lawyer.

I thought the day I got pulled over was like the end of the world for me, but it wasn’t. I got some good advice to stop looking back and to put my energy into going forward and that is exactly what Michael Kelly helped me do. He took an initial look to see if the charges could be dropped, but there w...as no case in this instance so he gave me a proactive plan to follow and I did just that. The perception of my situation was worse than it really was, so Michael Kelly tailored his plan for me to that. I had so much done before even going to court, that there was not much for the judge and probation officer to give me to do. We did, however, leave some things intentially. Not only were the charges reduced, but the terms of my probation were very reasonable. Doing so much proactively worked in my favor and is ultimately what I think led to the reasonable terms for probation. I was very pleased with how Michael Kelly represented me and what he did for me that I would recommend him to anyone in a similar situation that I was in.

I just worked with Mike on a misdemeanor charge. Needless to say I was stressed, scared and fearful of my future. Mike explained everything clearly in regard to what i was being charged with and the potential outcomes I could be facing. He assured me I was in good hands and he would do everything ...in his power to help me get through this as unscathed as possible. I admit I was a little skeptical as past experiences had proved. But every time Mike and I spoke I became more and more confident. He lays out a plan of action and as long as you follow his plan and do the things he asks of you, good things will happen. Come day of court and Mike was far and away even better then i had hoped. He ran around the court house speaking with anyone and everyone he deemed necessary to get the outcome he desired. He was confident in the court room and in the end did exactly what he said he would. Besides some minor fines, this will completely go away and I cannot thank Mike enough. He is a true professional who lives up to his word. I will be recommending Mike to anyone seeking legal console.
