From 1994 thru 1998 I attended the University of Southern Indiana taking coursework towards a double major in Political Science and History. During the summer months I interned at the Vanderburgh County courthouse in Evansville, Indiana. In May 1998 I graduated with honors from USI with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
In the summer of 1998 I attended a law school preparatory seminar at American University in Washington, D.C. In the fall of 1998, I enrolled in law school at the University of Dayton. My coursework at U.D. School of Law consisted of: Criminal Law; Criminal Procedure; Search and Seizure Law; Employment Law; Legal Rights of the Individual Employee; Discrimination in the Workplace; Civil Trial Practice; and Family Law.
During law school I received two C.A.L.I. Excellence for the Future Awards® in the fields of Trial Practice and Law and Aging. While enrolled at U.D., I was also employed by a local Dayton law office specializing in employment law.
I graduated from U.D. School of Law in May 2001. I passed the July 2001 Ohio Bar Exam and received my license to practice law in November 2001. Since passing the bar I established, and have maintained, a successful solo practice.
Business
Born and raised in a small, rural community I have a strong appreciation for respect, hard work and a love for the "underdog". This upbringing also instilled a strong compassion for all persons and their rights. Representing persons charged with crimes comes naturally and highly motivates me. I began my own practice in 2001 to ensure clients would get the one-on-one service and accountability that many law firms often cannot provide.

Lucas was extremely helpful through the whole process and kept me informed at all times. Not the extra charge for a phone call type of lawyer. He truly seemed to care about helping me out and didn’t just see me as another client.
Thank you for the review! Glad I could help.
