This review is from a person who hired this attorney.

Excellent Attorney

I hired Kate to assist with a civil case regarding an unpaid debt. Kate was very responsive, friendly, and well prepared. On the day of the proceeding, she explained exactly what would happen and due to her preparation, we were in and out quickly with a favorable judgement. I would recommend Kate ...highly.

The first and last attorney I will ever have

I first met Kate around 4 years ago when seeking to gain visitation rights to see my daughter. To make a long story short, she represented me in that matter, and I won visitation rights. Since then, she has actually gone the extra mile and I now have custody of my daughter thanks to the diligent effo...rts put forth by Kate. In a state where it's extremely rare for custody to change from one parent to another, she made that happen for me, and I'm forever grateful. Kate is extremely knowledgable in all facets of family law, she keeps you in the loop about what is going on with your case, and when the days comes, she's an excellent trial lawyer. I have recommended her to several people, and will continue to do so in the future. She's the only attorney I would want by my side when it matters the most.

Phenomenal Professional

Kate was a great source of information and help and the quintessential professional. She is easy to talk to and work with - a trait that I did not find in others. I would highly recommend her!

Worst Attorney ever!!!!

I hired Kate two years ago for a child custody case. I hired Kate after interviewing 5 other attorneys, my first impression was good. I mean that's why I hired her. I thought she could do a good job. Well was I wrong!!!!! Not I only did my ex win. I now only have the standard order of visitation. A l...ittle about me. I worked on WPAFB as a civilian, am in the airforce reserves, and have zero criminal background, I know help run my husbands company and stay at home with 2 month old baby girl. I plan to go back to school for nursing after my little kids are school age. My Ex and I were never married but I moved here and stayed here so that my daughter could have a relationship with her father, I purchased a home here and gave up living close to my family for my daughter. I am an amazing mother. Kate lacked attention to detail, she was reckless, she did not communicate to me and could care less about my case. She messed up details that were pertinent to my case in court. She didn't try at all. She did not provide any important exhibits that I wanted submitted. The opposing attorney was well prepared and her lack of preparation was evident. In the state of Ohio if a child is born out of wedlock, custody goes to the mother until custody is established. If the parties do not agree to sharred parenting the court will not order it. they are forced to pick a side. Because of Kate's actions or lack there of. I lost my case. I lost my daughter. I have standard order of visitation. (Even the GAL recommended whoever lost get above standard order because both parents were good and heavily involved) Now the only way I can take him back is a change in his circumstances. I've spent over 30 k trying to clean up the mess that Kate created. Don't let that pretty face fool you. I waited two years to write this review. I was hurt and angry. I am a good mom and a hard worker. She has inflicted so much pain on my life by her lack of legal counsel. I hired her todo the most important job and she failed. I know she will read this review and come back and make excuses or say this isn't true. I have a court transcript that proves how poorly she did. I'm willing to let anyone read it. Because it was in juvenile court, it is not public record. I waited so long before writing this review because I give people a fair chance, I know people make mistakes. I just can't let another family go through what I went through. I don't believe Kate is a bad person, but I believe she has an important role in our society and I don't think she is cutt out for the job.

Amazing Child Custody Attorney!!!!

We found Kate while searching for a great child custody lawyer. Our situation was incredibly urgent. Kate initially met with us on a Sunday knowing we needed to start our legal process quickly. At our first meeting Kate offered options where everyone had previously told us there were none. Kate i...s efficient and thorough. She guided us through all the ins and outs, explaining what we did not understand. We dealt exclusively with Kate, a refreshing change from lawyers we retained in the past. When we were desperate to prevent my stepdaughter from being returned to her mom, Kate understood how serious the situation was and helped us find an "outside the box" solution to keep her safe. We now have sole custody of our beautiful little girl, something we thought of as a long shot when the journey all began. Everything went best case senario for us and Kate was a huge part of our success. Kate represented us and our interests in outstanding fashion, she is the standard all other attorneys should be held to. If you are looking for an attorney do not look any further, if you hire Kate you will get the best out there!
