I was recommended to Brian Sommers by another attorney in Springfield, Ohio. I contacted an attorney in Springfield and he couldn't take my case, his first and only recommendation was Brian Sommers. I was extremely pleased with the outcome. Brian was able to get me extended parenting time outside ...of the standard order of parenting. He was very knowledgeable and kept me informed on the status of what was going on with my case. (His assistances are wonderful!) He explained everything to me in a manner that I could understand. Brian met with me the very first time for an hour and a half and did not charge me. I had hired another attorney and did not feel that I was getting the best service. After meeting with Brian, I asked him if he would take my case and he said "in a heartbeat." A heartbeat later, I hired him and a w...eek and a half later got a continuance from the judge. Throughout the case, Brian kept me well-informed by e-mail, phone, mail and personal meetings. His staff was professional and courteous. I do believe that if I had remained with my first attorney that my amount of spousal would have been significantly less. Brian also negotiated other perks such as my ex-husband paying for the back taxes and continuing to pay for my car and getting part of his retirement. Although getting divorced was truly unpleasant, I felt that I received a good deal as far as what my ex-husband will have to pay me for a number of years. Brian is a phenomenal lawyer and I would recommend him to anyone in my same circumstances.
