Ms. Mihok is board certified as an expert in the area of Labor and Employment Law by the Florida Bar Association. She has represented employees and employers in many legal proceedings, including state and federal court, mediation, arbitration, collective bargaining, disciplinary actions, licensing procedures, and appeals.
Her practice also focuses on education law, providing experience and advice to parents and students in disciplinary matters; IEP drafting, modification, and enforcement; 509 Plans; sexual harassment and bullying; and grading disputes.
Ms. Mihok is licensed to practice law in Florida State Courts, the Northern District of Florida, Middle District of Florida, Southern District of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Mihok graduated from Kent State University in 1998 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She continued her studies at the University of Akron School of Law and graduated in 2002, earning a Juris Doctor degree. Ms. Mihok became Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law in 2014.
